The best toys made right now are from DC Direct, HANDS DOWN. I don't (and never) gave a sh!t about how many points of articulation there are. It's always been about the sculpt for me since I was a kid.

The next best was Toy Biz's run of X-men in the 90's. Bring back simplified, clean, 6 inch sculpts. I frigg'n hate this 3.75 inch crap.

the problem with HULK in action figures is the problem inherent in action figures themselves. most of the characters are around 6 foot with large bodies. the hulk im assuming is more like 8 or 9 foot with a huge body, its not as simple as just taking one of their generic bodies and making him green.

and id assume the reason we havent seen a hulk toy would be that other than the drawn picture concept art we saw they might not have got the design perfected yet, as they wont have dont any post production cgi on the film yet. there is no point designing and making a toy that isnt that close to what is in the film.

so its nonsense to make comments like they dont want to aknowledge hulk as part of the team.

Iron Man should have a triangle chest piece. If he doesn't have it in the film then that's just bad storytelling because it was a major plot point in Iron Man 2.

"They really DON'T want to acknowledge the Hulk as a founding member of this team" @MrHulkSmashin

I thought the same, which only pushes me even more into my theory.. Being: CAPTURING HULK (and,or) BRINGING BANNER IN will be the first initiative. Only later in the film in it's most crucial moment, few will realize that Hulk's smash is needed to defeat whatever this major threat is.. Then again WTF do I know!?

@superdude115

im assuming they havent bothered with a hawkeye yet as no one knows what he looks like/who he is (other than the hardcore) and similar with hulk, or what i said just b4 your comment about how the hulk hasnt really been seen yet/they might not have finished the design for him in post, and the fact that hulk toys have to be taller and wider than all other action figures in the set.
forthesakeofnow
forthesakeofnow - 7/28/2011, 9:57 AM
@Maia87

i guess they have to make his size relative to that of iron man, cap and thor, otherwise all your toys end up the same size and u would get a 6 foot, medium build hulk.

no one seems to be thinking about the technicalities of toy making. lol

Yeah it do need more hulk love. They look awesome tho.
forthesakeofnow
forthesakeofnow - 7/28/2011, 9:59 AM
@blvdnoise

without forcing u to read what ive already written/quoting myself. im sure it has more to do with the ideas of marketing and us not really knowing what hulk looks like until the first official film image is realised.

otherwise u get something like the first hot toys joker model with the head that looks nowhere near as good as the clown joker model and the cop/no make up joker model.
forthesakeofnow
forthesakeofnow - 7/28/2011, 10:00 AM
otherwise u end up with people complaining that the hulk toy that does come out looks nothing like him when the film is out.

Okay so why is Starks Ark reactor round again like didn't change to the extremis version in Iron-man 2 first it was triangular now its suddenly round just like Thor, he had the chain mail in Thor but in the trailer he had no chainmail like marvel is just going back in forth with these customs.
