Robert Downey Jr. Not Visiting India for The Avengers

The Iron Man star reveals that he has no plans to go to India to promote The Avengers.

Last month, it was reported that Robert Downey Jr. would accompany Scarlett Johansson to India, to promote The Avengers. Now, the 46-year-old actor is dissmissing those reports.

“I don’t think I have any plans to visit India for The Avengers. But yeah, I would love to make a trip sometime later perhaps ... I have heard and read so much about India. It will be great to visit the country,”


He also went on to reveal his fascination with Indian films:

“Yeah I have watched a couple of them and absolutely loved it. This unique way of filmmaking is phenomenal. You express your feelings through music and dance just like a musical in Hollywood

A full shot of the heroes together would be nice! And some more Cobie Smulders would be hot, I love Robin from HIMYM.

Hell yea, has anyone else seen a Bollywood/Indian film? They're freaking awesome! (this is coming from an American I guess if you want to look at it that way) If you want a fun entertaining time, go to a cinema that plays Indian films (Like Regal) and watch a few; they all have English subtitles for the Hindi speaking parts, and are guaranteed to give you a few laughs and really show you just how awesome their cinematography is.
