Seems like everyone on earth decided that Prometheus would be a "I don't want to waste my money, I'll just watch it on DVD," kind of movie.

We all knew The Avengers would do well on Blu-Ray/DVD. And I will be picking up Prometheus on Blu-Ray soon.

Even though I have a 3D copy which came with 4 copies, I thinking about getting The Avengers AGAIN on Xbox Live or Vudu(Still plan on getting the phase one collection, lol). I also got the 3D copy of Prometheus, might watch that again later.

Prometheus is better once you've watched it a couple of times on Blu-ray.

BAH! Prometheus. What a sorry disappointment of a film.

I hope to never, ever have to sit through it again... except for maybe ONE time with my brother, just to show him how inane it is. Thankfully, we have Netflix for that.

So much love for Avengers!

Prometheus was terrible. Definitely a waste of time.

People who didn't like Prometheus either:

-need every little detail spoonfed to them in order to enjoy a movie

-are cinematically jaded and think they're "above" a movie where, God forbid! people do something dumb that is actually necessary to progress the plot

-thought it was too much or too little like Alien

-are still butthurt over LOST and think their confusion over that finale entitles them to be mad at this movie

-don't get the fact that science fiction is effing FICTION

-or are just mad that they found out there are a lot of fans of the movie and even more mad that they "didn't get it"

or a combination of the above. Let me know if I missed anything haters :)
