Thor has a cool hat... why doth he nay don it?

Cap's helmet looks like shit but he still has to wear it!

This isnt a [frick]ing movie star fashon parade! These are our heroes and dont get around without their [frick]ing masks & helmets on!!!!

I mean we all get it! Its a star studded cast but do we need to show their face every 10 funking seconds just because they a crowd puller??

@mothman - Yeah I'll explain it to you, they get to be in the Avengers because they are part of S.H.I.E.L.D. Seeing that this version of the Avengers is based hugely on the version presented by THE ULTIMATES and not the 616 universe standard version with way too many members, Black Widow and Hawkeye are always gonna be in the team seeing that the team is a S.H.I.E.L.D. creation just as in THE ULTIMATES where they are also agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that are assigned to the team.

War Machine although a current US Military officer, is not assigned to S.H.I.E.L.D., his military superiors obviously have other needs for him with their own agenda. He may yet appear in the sequel.

Yup. It does look like Iron Man 2.5 from that poster. Cap should be front and center with Thor and IM while the Hulk towers over them from behind. Couldn't agree more about Hawkeye and Black Widow. A guy with a bow and arrows and a chick with pistols against an alien horde is downright rediculous. Would have been much better with Giant Man standing as big as a building in the backround.

Looks like Stark is the official face of the avengers. the amount of time he gets in the trailer plus this Hammer-time poster make me wonder about Cap's role. Loki swagger > Stark Swagger

@Superargo Warner Bros aren't cringing at all. TDK and Inception were sufficient marketing enough :) but seriously I cant wait for TDKR no more trailers I love the secrecy.

Has anyone else noticed the beam shooting up into the sky from Stark Tower? Is there a chance that Stark along with Selvig and Banner discovered a way to open up a  Einstein Rosen Bridge using the Cosmic Cube and transport Thor down back to Earth? Then Loki uses it to transport his army for an invasion?

I been dying for Stark Tower to show up in NYC, im so glad they did it for The Avengers. And since the way IM2 ended ...im curious to know how they explain Iron Man joining the group. They touch upon it a bit in the trailer.
