1. "The plot is typical, and predictable."
That is just your opinion. Not everything has to be complicated.

2. "The whole thing with the mindcontrolled Hawkeye, and Dr. Erik Selvig was just not handled correctly and little to simple."
That is just your opinion. I feel like it was handled correctly.

3. "Loki was a typical villian who wants to control the human race (like we haven't heard of that before)"
Loki is not a typical villain. He did not want to rule Earth. He wanted to create mischief. He is the God of Mischief after all.

4. "They did not explain how Thor was able to come back to earth, atleast not in detail."
Odin used dark magic to bring Thor to Earth. It will be explained in Thor: TDW.

5. "Loki stayed and watched as Iron-Man, Thor, and Captain America fought and none of them thought it was weird, or perculiar that he did not escape and let them arrest him."
They still needed to interrogate him.

6. "when they did take him in into the helicarrier it took them a good while to finally realize that he was trying to use the hulk as a strong ally."
Actually. Black Widow found out rather quickly.

7. "Captain America smacked a grenade out of the way with his bare hand!!"
Captain America is a Super-Soldier.

8. "Hawkeye was just getting his butt handed to him in the most ridiculous was by black widow, to the point where he just gets knocked out and that just happens to get Loki's mindcontrolled grasp out of his mind."
Hawkeye's head was slammed against a wall. That's pretty painful.

9. "Scarlett Johanson could have been replaced to play Black Widow, her long pauses on screen and her tries of clever jokes are as flat as Anna Hatheway's stomach, and her russian accent is no where to be found (please don't give me that whole lector of how she's a spy and she has to conceal it, because I don't care.)"
Well, she is HOT. She also acts great.

10."Agent Coulson's death was handled in comedic way then a dramatic or emotional way, that it just felt goofy and made me feel as though if I couldn't feel sad when such a good character like Agent Coulson dies then I wouldn't care for any of the Avengers dying either."
I do not think it was quite funny.

11. "The Chituari are the weakest army since the drones in phantom menace, (they even shut down like them to) all they really did was blow up a couple cars, shoot a couple buildings, and wave their fancy weapons at a couple scared citizens, but you never see someone hurt or killed; you never feel as though this army could really do some damage to the world."
They would not show violence in a family movie.

12. "Bruce Banner just happens to get to New York just in time for the alien invasion, on a dirty, old scooter which is probaly one of the most random things in the entire movie."
Bruce came rather late in the battle.

13. "Nick Fury's superiors launch a nuclear misssle to destroy New York, are you serious!!!"
Yes, they were actually serious. They wanted to protect the world from the aliens.

14. "The only way to close the portal is by Loki's skeptor, like they couldn't have thought of something a little more scientific."
In fact, it was very scientific.

15. "Iron-Man leads the bomb into the portal, when somehow his suit doesn't freeze in deep space especially in a suit that just flys onto him (Iron-Man 1 anybody?)"
They explained in Iron Man 1.

16. "Captain America just decides to close the portal on Iron-Man after he basically just saved New York without a second thought."
He wanted to protect New York from any remaining Alien ships.

17. "and lastly The Chitauri just shut down like robots."
They were all connected, because of the Mother Ship.

The Avengers is the BEST CBM OF ALL TIME.

let people think what they like about the avengers, the dark knight rises or the amazing spider-man.

what they think doesn't change how i feel about that particular movie.

-the avengers 4/5 (very good)
-the dark knight rises 3/5 (good, could of been better)
-the amazing spider-man 3/5 (good, could of been better)

After watching The Amazing Spider-Man for the billionth time (bootleg, of course since I don't have any money to go to the movies right now), I'm going to admit, it's not as great as I thought it was when I first was it. I think it's now my second or third favorite CBM. It''s probably behind Batman Begins.

@marvel72 Exactly! People shouldn't rely on others to form their opinions!

1. "The plot doesn't have to be complicated in order to be hard to predict. FAIL.

2. Lack of detail on a specific scenario people 'know' would leave question marks is considered a plot hole.

3. Loki did want to take over earth. He said and I quote " humans are meant to be ruled over."

4. I certainly hope it's explained in Thor's sequel. [If not, FAIL]

5. Loki staying behind and just watching... would raise flags for most people with common sense. No-brainer plot element.

6. Sure did. Impressive psychological scene.

7. Of course. Superhuman beings do that.

8. [Personally] I didn't agree with Hawkeye being bested by Widow, [BUT] it wasn't the impact that took off the mind control, but the Shield Agents that reversed the programming with something. [do not quote me]

9. Great actress, but casting a woman solely on looks is as shallow as they come. And her character as a whole in the film made little sense as far as being in the role. Widow is cold and calculative. Scarlett was not.

10. Wasn't funny. Dunno why one would say it was comedic as a whole.

11. Transformers 3 had the same rating system, was a family movie [AND] showed people getting disintegrated. The invasion was downplayed to the point where a regular human [Black Widow] was out there fighting them alongside other super-powered beings. Made it look like any human with fighting abilities can fight them. Also made army movies look more intimidating, even though the war's against humans.

12. Was it confirmed where Bruce actually landed??

13. Makes sense, except, no military strike was orchestrated on the invasion, so resorting to a nuke so soon didn't really make much sense... unless the powers that be were really evil or with zero [empathy].

14. Uhh.. no comment. [unsure]

15. Yup. Thoroughly explained in IM1. Someone needs to re-watch that before criticizing that scene.

16. In war, making difficult choices is... in [some] cases a logical necessity. Like [triage] on the battlefield.

17. Explained, yes, but anti-climactic.

Although my comment is based partially off opinion and partially off logic, everyone is free to take it as a brain storm with no disrespect intended. Just a voice.

Wow...really? How dare anybody say spiteful or condescending remarks to something that you hold with high esteem. What is the World coming to now that people are allowed to have sentiments that contradict yours. Really.
Social conformity is the ideal to aspire to!

there, guess what, all the movies were good, it doesn't matter which were more entertaining because they were all amazing in they're own respective and different way's and all helped to progress the CBM genre to a more serious level. Now STFU all of you.

11. They would not show violence in a family movie.

You mean like Agent Coulson getting impaled, Hulk kicking Blonsky or Megatron swatting humans out of the way?
CorndogBurglar

Im going to try this one more time, nothing im about to say is to be mean, but rather, to help you.

If you dont want people bashing your articles, like almost everyone does, then come up with something original. Stop copying other people's articles and just inserting your opinions instead, and stop doing responses to other's articles.

Next, go look at quality articles and take notes. Think of your articles as essays for school rather than Facebook posts. ELABORATE!

Add pictures to spice things up. If you dont know how, then read and follow the directions in the online tutorial. In fact, just read the online tutorial anyway, it will do nothing but help.

Last, STOP DELETING COMMENTS! I dont care how negative or derogarory a comment is, either ignore it, or give it right back to the poster. But NEVER delete them. It only makes you look like the prick. If someone is being an ass,, leave the comment for everyone to see, and if its unjustified, then everyone will know the person is being a prick. People will ALWAYS post negative comments. It doesnt matter how good your article is, so if you cant take it, then writing on the internet isnt for you. But if you write a quality article, and someone bashes you, people will stick up for you, including me. But no one is going to defend an article like this, and unfortunately, this is how all your articles look. Dont believe me? Just read all the comments here. Most of them are making fun of the article. That should tell you something.

I've been a contributor on this site for a LONG tome, longer than most, so I advise taking my advice. If you dont, then you wont have many people around here supporting you...
