Thanks to a translation of a report from Russian website Vesti, courtesy of the ever reliable @RIMBreaks, we now have confirmation that the first trailer for The Avengers will be unveiled in front of Real Steel next month, surely meaning that it'll also find it's way online before then. A first look at the highly anticipated movie is also expected in an upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly sometime in the next couple of weeks. Today at Saint Petersburg's Movie Expo Disney representatives have confirmed, that the first theatrical trailer for The Avengers will be attached to the release of Real Steel (the first week of October). Also, if everything goes according to the plan - then the whole cast will be in Moscow for the live premiere of the movie in May.
UPDATE: Since posting this article, Jordan from The Movie Pool has been in touch, and tells us: "I emailed my Disney PR rep about this, and he confirmed that this wasn't true. The most he said was "Hopefully soon" but that it wasn't attached to Real Steel."
