Many thanks to MTV for providing the above video.

"If Chris called me, I would certainly do it," states Eckhart. "I would do anything for Chris. ... But as far as I'm concerned, my character's dead."

So no more Two Face, which, by me, that's fine. I thought Nolan hit the nail on the head with his version of Two Face in "The Dark Knight." In the real world, which seems to be the way the Nolan Bat universe works, Two Face wouldn't last that long anyway with half of his face melted off.

When asked about the Joker's return in the third Nolan helmed Batman movie, Aaron states:

"I think 'Dark Knight' was always Heath's movie, and Heath was definitely the motor and the vehicle that was to continue on with the movie," he states. "I'm not sure that it's not better just to start all over and find different characters for the next movie."

Aaron is probably right. But The Joker has to be present at least in the back drop of any future Batman movie for it to be a huge success. I'm not talking 200 million I'm talking "The Dark Knight" numbers. If you don't think the WB execs are thinking the same way then you're just fooling yourselves.

So that brings up the next question. Who could play The Joker? My answer to that is Johnny Depp. I think Johnny Depp is talented enough to mimic what Heath did for the role. Remember, Heath didn't want the Joker role. Heath, reportedly, did his best to screw it up to get fired and then collect his paycheck. So what we had with the TDK's Joker is a very talented actor doing his best to screw the role up only to nail it and turn in one of this century's best performances.
