First the main story of the game did not feature enough villain character boss fights like the previous games have. Surely we got to fight the Riddler for the first time in combat and the Arkham Knight (despite changing his armor's color red after Batman busted his visor) but Rocksteady purposely ditched the chance of having Batman take on villains like Killer Croc in his further deformed/monstrous state)
no doubt its because they were heavily focused on the Batmobile battling tanks that it distracted them from including plenty of character boss battles
Next was Barbara Gordon was held captive for too long by Scarecrow and his militia forces
It has put the pressure on many fans to have Oracle kidnapped by the Arkham Knight and be held captive for most of the main mission of the main story due to the Arkham Knight and Scarecrow keeping Batman from rescuing her sooner before they tricked him with fear toxin into thinking they manipulated her into commiting suicide when they actually made sure she was still alive and because of how stubborn Batman was not letting Nightwing and Robin help him over his obsession with keeping Joker from coming back to terrorize Gotham and because of his fears of what would happen to them,
surely Barbara was alive and Batman rescued her and she was able to help him protect the GCPD from being obliterated by the Militia drones. the reason for the long wait on rescuing her sooner was the desire for so much drama no doubt
and finally the main issue of the game that is bothering us regards the Arkham Knight on his identity
at first the Arkham Knight was reported and said to be introduced into the game as an original new character and villain who commands an army of terrorists serving as his own personal militia
before the game's release while the rumors were still standing, the Arkham Knight was sure to be someone inspired by Hugo Strange and Quincy Sharp's work on Arkham City he was surely someone who was intending to finish their work but once we got into the HQ the Arkham Knight reveals him self as an ironically undead Jason Todd
Other than how controversal it was to make Jason end up inside the suit after he was last seen getting killed by Joker and for how big a wreck and a whiner he was, the issue with making Jason Todd the Arkham Knight's identity was that it made Rocksteady lie to us that the Arkham Knight was a new and original villain/character
But for now the real question is why did the people of Rocksteady choose to lie to us about the Arkham Knight being a new and original character just by making him Jason Todd instead of making the identity of the character someone that was not seen in the comics like the 4 Joker infected victims that were in Panessa Studios as well as all the cops that were with Aaron Cash in the GCPD building and all the fireman that were taken hostage by the rioters in the game or at least let us know that the Arkham Knight was going to be someone from the comics Well I am sure that someday the people who developed this game will answer for this
And for those of you who refuse to admit that Jason Todd made Rocksteady lie to us about the Arkham Knight being an original character with your "technically" excuses, take a look at the pictures below and read the comics that features Jason Todd
Jason Todd appeared in the Batman comics as the second robin that was killed by the Joker
and then he returns as the Red Hood
So as you can see from the pics of Jason as Robin and Red Hood from the comics, you should understand now to why making Jason the identity of the Arkham Knight made the character rumors a lie because if the Arkham Knight was an original character, then he would have been someone that was not seen in the comics before and if you still refuse to admit that I among others that know it made the rumors a lie are right, then someday one of those people that know for sure Rocksteady lied to us about the Arkham Knight would intend to find where you are and hurt you but I wouldn't. Because when it comes to original it not only means the very first of something, it also means very new
Still the only reason this issue with the Arkham Knight ending up as Jason Todd hasn't struck the net with such major impact and why Rocksteady has not explained why they chose him to be the character's identity was because other than some of the fans knowing for sure of the Arkham Knight being Jason Todd despite him being the Red Hood, it's that the game was still awesome that it's got almost everything we wanted, and that Batman was able to rescue Barbara Gordon and bring her to safety to the GCPD and what matters most of all was that the Scarecrow serving as the main villain of Batman Arkham Knight was definitely the real Jonathan Crane from Batman Arkham Asylum and not the Joker thank god and that Batman dealt with Joker first before dealing with Scarecrow. It shows that Rocksteady was able to manage someone other than the clown prince of crime as the main antagonist in these games without making Joker steal the spotlight from them. For now while we wait for more potential DLC's to be released for the game, we should enjoy playing Batman Arkham Knight as much as we can
