Fresh off today's reveal of news about Rocksteady's installment of Batman: Arkham Knight with the moved release date and the "Officer Down" gameplay trailer, realiable sources at IGN Italy are claiming that a collection of remastered HD two Arkham console next generation. Specifically, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. There isn't much news about that other then the fact it will be out by Christmas at this moment. It seems as though they are solely focusing games on Rocksteady's series and not focusing also on WB Montreal's prequel that is canon to Rocksteady's Batman series in Batman: Arkham Origins.

What are your thoughts about this? Would you pick it up a remastered version of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City for the Xbox One or Playstation 4? Comment below, let me know. Peace and remember.

In Batman: Arkham Asylum, the Dark Knight takes on his greatest challenge yet when he becomes trapped with all of his most dangerous villains inside the insane asylum of GOTHAM CITY - ARKHAM ASYLUM! Batman: Arkham Asylum exposes players to a unique, dark and atmospheric adventure that takes them to the depths of Arkham Asylum - Gotham's psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane. Gamers will move in the shadows, instigate fear amongst their enemies and confront The Joker and Gotham City's most notorious villains who have taken over the asylum. Using a wide range of Batman's gadgets and abilities, players will become the invisible predator and attempt to foil The Joker's demented scheme. Batman: Arkham Asylum features an original story penned exclusively for the game by famous Batman author and five-time Emmy award winner, Paul Dini, whose credits include Lost season one and Batman: The Animated Series. With amazing graphics and a moody, immersive setting, Batman: Arkham Asylum offers diverse gameplay options that push the envelope for all action, adventure and superhero games.

Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation ofBatman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City - five times larger than the game world in Batman: Arkham Asylum - and the new maximum security "home" for all of Gotham City's thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new, all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.

I was just reading this news on n4g and I think it will sell well. I personally want new games instead of all these remasters, but they will keep coming until people stop buying them.

Levi, you know that game is coming, Phil Spencer hinted pretty much that it will.

The Marcus Fenix Collection. I wish man. Imagine seeing Gears of War cutscenes with the same treatment Halo 2 got in The Master Chief Collection? Wow. Hey, we never know for sure until we get some news surrounding Gears 4.

As much as i love this series, well the first 2 anyway. theses days of the "let's remaster every classic" from last gen to this gen is getting old fast, we need new games and new classic original ip's

I am alright with Origins remaster as long as they don't include Origins's multiplayer.

Honestly, I don't think these games need to be remastered, they're not that old. On the other hand, these games can only be played on original consoles so if they are to release them for next gen, might as well upgrade the graphics.

"Remaster" is the biggest rip off term ever....only idiots or people that did not have the games previously fall for this money grab.

I hope so. These games are the only reason I haven't gotten rid of my 360 yet.

I hope this is true, I've only played Asylum and I'd have zero problem at playing it again completely revamped.
