Talia al Ghul for the female villain. and Black Mask only as a side villain if that. He's a mobster therefor he can't get the venom treatment (from Spider-man 3). Don't care who the other main villain is as long as the movie s good.

As much as I love Nolan's movie's and what he has done for Batman I can't help but feel that he is holding back a united DC Universe which for some reason he is totally against. I'm really looking forward to TDKR but I'm also happy it will be his last DC movie so then WB can start to unite their DC characters and give us a Superman/Batman crossover and some time down the line a Justice League Movie which would be awesome to finally see on the big screen.

I don't want a united DC universe.I think time will prove it to be a mistake for Marvel too.Just look at the way Iron Man 2 turned out.A two hour advert for another movie.I prefer stand alone movies. That way you get a film solely about the title character. The character you've paid to see a story about.

I think Spartan76 has a valid point. While I would love to see a World's Finest Batman/Superman crossover film, I think it would be very difficult to pull off and still maintain the level a stand alone movie. We've all seen what happens when you throw in too many villains. The story is rushed through and there isn't enough character development. I'm thinking that too many heroes will have the same pitfalls.

That was Ra's Al Ghul's big trick. He "died" at the end of almost every story and always came back. God bless Lazarus pits. I doubt Nolan would bring in Lazarus pits, but we didn't see Ra's die in Batman Begins- and he looked pretty damn calm when that crash happened.
"But is Ra's Al Ghul immortal? Are his methods supernatural?"

I hope we won´t see Ra's Al Ghul's again, let’s watch another enemy try to take on Batman. I would rather see the Penguin or the Ventriloquist.

I just wish Nolan would unclench for once and spill a few details about TDKR. Then maybe all this arguing about Catwoman, Talia, Black Mask, etc. will STOP!!

Thanks for posting this Ed...if you have anymore..please post.
Hearing this interview makes me realize why they say 'RAHZ' al Ghul instead of 'RASCH' al Ghul in the movie...its the British accent. You can tell he's saying 'Rasch' (proper pronunciation) but with that accent it sounds more like 'Rahz'. ...hence...the actors --Liam, Christian, Cillian, etc. (who all have English or Irish accents) will do the same.
I also wondered if since they made him more Far-Eastern than Middle-Eastern that had something to do with the different pronunciation ...because they clearly did their research...hhhmmm

anyway...i'd love to see Talia for 3 but i wont hold my breath...i dont think we'll see Cat Woman either...although its rumored Nolan is looking at Charlize Theron...she'd make a great Cat Woman i think.
