Celebrate BATMAN DAY By Revealing Your Favorite BATMAN Moment!
For those of you who didn't know, today is Batman Day! What I want to know is - What's your favorite Batman moment(s)? Is it from a comic? A film? An animated series? Regardless of what it is, hit the jump to share your thoughts with the CBM Community!
Today has been proclaimed Batman Day by DC Comics! The iconic character first appeared in Detective Comics #27, from there, he's made an impact on the superhero world in ways you can't imagine! The Dark Knight is notably known for his awesome crime fighting skills, his high tech gadgets, and his ability to solve almost any mystery using his genius-level intellect! For over 75 years, Batman has defeated many foes, and set major milestones that still stand to this day. And even though he's not really a team player, he teams up with the Justice League from time-to-time, and he's had multiple side-kicks. They are, Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), the many Robins - Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, and Jason Todd (who we'd much rather not talk about).
The Caped Crusader has done many things in the comics (and films), that the fans will remember forever! For instance, he's one of the few inidviduals to beat Superman, he found a way to defeat every member of the Justice League, and even at age 60, he still found a way to defeat his enemies! But one of the most important reasons why we slate Batman as one of the greatest heroes ever, is because of his one rule...
He doesn't kill.
Now, I know some of you will try and counter that, but that's not why we're here today! Today, is the day we celebrate Batman for his many accomplishments in the DC Universe, and beyond!
