"LOL.

How's your career going, Chris?"

*face palm*

Chris has had a very successful career and is focusing on spending time with his wife and raising their 5 kids right now.

How is your career and life in comparison?

O' Donnel was supposed to play Agent J but decided that the way the character was introduced in the film as a rookie or "new guy" who gets partnered up with an older, mentor like character was too similar to Robin.

this does give some validity to the speculation of a nightwing or robin spin-off from Nolan's franchise.

If a director approached me offering a lead role in a CBM, I'd take it!

Batman & Robin was terrible! So I can see why they didn't go thought with the Robin spin-off. I wouldn't mind seeing a Robin spin-off though.

O'Donnell's career is by no means dead. He stars in the pretty successful NCIS spinoff. He's making money.

I never did understand why they cast a 27 year old man to play Robin. I guess in Forever he could've passed as a 17 year old, but in Batman & Robin he looked 30.

Well at least it can't be as bad batman vs mr Hannibal, Oh wait a second that was Bane in dark knight rises.

This is why Rises sucked:

http://www.nme.com/blog/index.php?blog=131&title=the_dark_knight_rises&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

They should have got a director to make a film similar to the batman film aka the one with the penguin because it suited the dark knight, rises had no flipping batmobile WTF!

He wasn't one of the reasons the bat flicks were terrible, he out acted Val Kilmer and clooney, if you could call it that. They just gave him some very cheesy dialogue

Hey, I liked him in Forever, always have. The spin off would have been a bad idea for obvious reasons, but not because of him.

They should do one with Joseph Gordon Levit. Just throw the magic pay check at Nolan and he'll do it.

start of as robin maybe in a batman movie, then get a robin spin off movie that shows his journey to becoming nightwing.

TDKR may have sucked in your opinion, but seriously?! Complaining over material things?! How Bane should look like a hulked out lucha libre who wouldn't have been able to act? Or perhaps you'd like it to follow the comic word for word, leaving no suspense, making it corny in a lot of places, and completely unoriginal. I see. Certainly glad you didn't direct that billion dollar grossing piece of "trash". Then it would've been Batman in grey spandex, underwear above pants and all, lucha libre steroid Bane, a Batmobile adding nothing to the same old boring story, since I'm sure you'd want Batman to have never quit, a Batcave with a giant coin, and Robin being adopted straight out of the circus.

Another thing, I don't understand why people get so mad because Batman quit. It makes a truly good happy ending when you think about it. Imagine a man comes home from war where he witnesses death and does crazy sh*t as a result of PTS. In the end, a good ending would be him getting over it, moving on, and settling down with a girl. Not looking over the city with no character developement. Bruce finally got over the trauma and got the chance to live a normal life. To us, a normal sounds like it sucks, but to people who can't have that, it's a beautiful thing they hope to have one day.

Thanks, I'm just so tired of blind fans who want everything to be just like it is in comics l, not realizing that most of it would make it a bad film. Then if it was a terrible film, people would complain about how they should've changed things to make it work in a movie and screan REBOOT!

Legacy Films, it's not your typical WAR, and soldier coming home from the war, he inspired people to stand up for themselves, in which Joker got them scared again, he catches joker, and goes into hiding for 8 years, and a new villain comes in, traps the ENTIRE police force with the exception of "Robin" and maybe one or two guys, batman frees the the police a big battle starts, and batman's done? well if that's the case when the black mask comes around, or the riddler, or Victor Szas or however you spell it, and Batman's not around to stop them... the people who were once inspired than scared to hell again, would piss themselves in fear, over batman not being around to put the badguys in line... it IS possible to close off a movie in the sense that batman will continue being batman... and not need to make another film... kinda like the michael keaton batman film endings, standing on a building, bat symbol in the sky, etc...

I think that Chris O'Donnell's Robin was one of the few good things about Batman Forever; I'm not sure that the character would have worked in a solo film, though. The original series is so inconsistent it's kinda hard to judge how well a Robin film would have worked.
