The news regarding DC’s plans for Batman this September just keep coming. DC’s latest announcement assures fans of the Batman Incorporated series that the series will continue in 2012. The title will continue after a six month hiatus, and along with almost all of DC's other titles will start as a new #1. The series will join the ranks of the Batman family books, which include Batman, Batman and Robin, Batman: The Dark Knight and Detective Comics. Other related titles include a new Nightwing series starring Dick Grayson, Red Hood and the Outlaws, a new Batgirl series, and a new series starring the recently introduced Batwing from the pages of Batman Inc. Many thanks to DC’s The Source for supplying the quote from Batman Inc. writer Grant Morrison.
“Batman, Incorporated will continue through to Issue #10 and August’s shocking season finale that changes the Batman status quo yet again. The series will take a brief hiatus while I work on a major new project to be announced shortly. Batman, Incorporated returns next year with me, Chris Burnham and Batman: Leviathan, the epic 12 part conclusion to my 6 year Batman saga. Don’t miss it!”
