DC Adaptations To Be "Basis" For Warner Bros.; BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Title Confirmed?

While Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara talked this past weekend about Ben Affleck's "seasoned" Batman, we now have some more quotes from his speech to shareholders which promise a larger focus on DC's comic book stable moving forward and possible confirmation of the Batman Vs. Superman title.

When the Harry Potter franchise ended, many fans thought it would mean that Warner Bros. would focus their efforts on bringing more DC comic book characters to life on the big screen. However, the commercial failure of Green Lantern and a trilogy of movies based on The Hobbit seems to have slowed those plans down, and you can't blame anyone for being worried about the likes of Wonder Woman and The Flash when there are more films based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter characters are on the way. However, we now have a quote from Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara in which he seems to make it clear that the DC superheroes do factor somewhere into their plans of releasing between 12 - 14 movies a year. "I think the basis, foundation of those 12 to 14 pictures are going to be coming from DC Entertainment." While he would later add that further announcements are on the way, the CEO may have inadvertently let slip the title of Zack Snyder's Batman/Superman movie when talking about the highly anticipated team-up. "We have Batman Vs. Superman coming out in 2015, but there are going to be in the coming months a lot of announcements regarding the future movie, television, games and consumer product pieces that are going to be coming from DC." This is the same title spotted recently on Watchmen cinematographer Larry Fong's resume at Worldwide Production Agency.
