Ben Affleck as Batman has caused quite a stir within the comic book movie community, so I decided to go outside an interview a series of random people for my first editorial segment of “True To Life Thoughts and Opinions". I have interviewed a randomly selected amount of four people just off the streets. Their names may be changed but their minds may or not have been changed through a form of hypnosis methods. Each discussion was made in a highly sparse area to limit the amount of interaction.

Interview One
QST (Jacky): Hey dude Ben Affleck is playing Batman what do you think of this exciting news?
ANS (Steve): Ben Affleck as Batman? Holy hijinkees! What has this cruel world come to, wait a minute I thought George Clooney was Batman?
QST (Jacky): Well no but in fact George Clooney has been deemed as one of the worst actors to play Batman,
ANS (Steve): You got to be kidding me right. George Clooney is the best actor to play Batman and hear me out you little weasel if I ever catch you playing around the clock to tell these people Ben Affleck...
QST (Jacky): Look dude I am not pulling your leg or anything Ben Affleck is playing Batman and George Clooney is not playing Batman anymore.
ANS (Steve): YOU MENACE! I would have had your head in the midst of a stranglehold for telling me Ben Affleck could play Batman!
QST (Jacky): It was official announced sir but I understand the outrage brought on by...
- Well he started shaking his fist and chasing after me wildly through the streets. Well I shaded him off my tail. Interview didn't go as well as planned but I got a good idea of what his opinions were.

Interview Two
QST (Jacky): Ben Affleck has officialy been announced to play Batman, what do you think?
ANS (Brad): Is this some sort of prank or joke?
QST (Jacky): No it's not, the sequel to Man of Steel will feature Batman as a character, Ben Affleck vs Superman is going to happen man.
ANS (Brad): Are you out of your (beep) mind? What kind of sick joke is this you whacked up sadistic little...
QST (Jacky): Look I am not trying to cause a stir but this was just announced and I want to try to get the thoughts and opinions off a few random people like yourself.
ANS (Brad): For the sake of mankind he played Daredevil one of the worst films. I am just shaking my head in astonishment. No matter what he is trying to do with directing his own little projects he is never going to be great in my eyes. All I am going to say is whiny 90s career Ben Affleck who starred in the worst films ever imaginable. This is as bad as Michael Keaton playing Batman. It seems people can't do their jobs.
QST (Jacky): Yeah man I feel your emotion and pain. The news came so suddenly like a hurricane and the whole interwebs exploded. Batman being one of the most popular comic characters around.
ANS (Brad): Those (beep) (beep) people! If I had my mind to say I would make my own Batman film better than them. In fact I am so mad right now I want to punch you in the face.
QST (Jacky): Yeah okay, well thanks for the interview and uh I hope you have a great day!
ANS (Brad): You are not going anywhere...
- He jumped on me and tried to beat me up. Well I threw him off and ran. Second time in a row someone went crazy about this. Even though that I am still determined to find out more.

Interview Three
QST (Jacky): Yo dude how is it going today?
ANS (Simon): Going great today with the sun finally shining and crap.
QST (Jacky): Are you a big huge comic book fan?
ANS (Simon): Well of course I am don't you see I am wearing a Batman shirt.
QST (Jacky): Speaking of Batman, Ben Affleck is playing him in the new upcoming film. What do you think?
ANS (Simon): Are you (beep) kidding me right now. Look I will have to ask you step back and get away from me.
QST (Jacky): I am not joking around he is playing Batman. I think you just need to breath alright and talk to me because I need this interview.
ANS (Simon): and I think you need to take your medication man. There is no way this is happening and I am upset right now that you are coming in my own face like this pal.
QST (Jacky): Look you want a tissue to cry buddy go ahead but this is happening for real now. This isn't some invasion of your territory this is reality we are talking about. You and me talking here is reality and this is the reality we are facing now. So just tell me what are your thoughts and opinions.
ANS (Simon): Go (beep) yourself.
QST (Jacky): Come on man lighten up and give me a real answer will you.
ANS (Simon): Ben Affleck as Batman, how about Ryan Reynolds plays Robin or some other joke of an actor. I don't know what this world has come to but I am not going to be on this planet anymore.
QST (Jacky): Hey look dude if you are even suggesting in the slightest to...
ANS (Simon): LISTEN HERE! I am gathering all my (beep) squirrel friends and my pet raccoon and I am getting a (beep) spaceship. I am leaving this planet goodbye I am building my spaceship.
QST (Jacky): I don't think it's remotely possibly to build a spaceship...
ANS (Simon): AND it will be partly made of Lego bricks and molded together with superglue! Look in the skies my friend just keep on looking.
- Well on that note he left. I kept looking in the skies momentarily after and no spaceship ever flew. Well another upset person on the marker. Time to interview one more person before I get away.

Interview Four
ANS (Roger): Who the (beep) are you?
QST (Jacky): I am just interviewed a few random people on Ben Affleck as Batman trying to get their thoughts and opinions.
ANS (Roger): Adam West as Batman?
QST (Jacky): No not him Ben Affleck as Batman, he was announced to play him in a new movie...
ANS (Roger): Just be quiet. Stay quiet now and hear the whisper in the wind. It tells me that a jackal will slowly rise from the dirt to eat your soul.
QST (Jacky): Well that is really interesting but what I want to know is what do you think of Ben Affleck playing Batman?
ANS (Roger): The jackal is slowly rising now.
QST (Jacky): I don't see the jackal slowly rising.
ANS (Roger): Look into my eyes and tell me what do you see.
QST (Jacky): I don't know what this has to do with your thoughts and opinions on Ben Affleck playing Batman.
ANS (Roger): If you looked closer you would have seen darkness. Nothingness from a sense of isolation. The feeling of emptiness. The jackal taking what is left. That is how I feel of Ben Affleck playing Batman.
QST (Jacky): Look dude I've gone through people just hating this and I expected that one person to have a good feeling over this. I don't get it. Why do people hate this actor so much.
ANS (Roger): I do not hate Ben Affleck but I will have you know, I played Batman once in a play. I fell off a roof during the show and embarrassed myself in a Batman costume in front of thousands of people. I was the star of the show that lost the wheel my friend.
QST (Jacky): Wow amazing insight on your life buddy. So Ben Affleck as Batman?
ANS (Roger): I am Batman and I shall rise again.
QST (Jacky): Batman is a fictional character about to be played in a movie. I know this reality may be hard on you but seriously just tell me what you think.
ANS (Roger): I shall scream into the night wherever I go and let the people of Gotham know I am the hero that they deserve!
QST (Jacky): Well thank you for the interview, have a good day...
ANS (Roger): AND I shall forever say Batman will be the defender of the hungry and shall serve a platter of goose towards the giant hens from burrows deep beneath the Earth!
- Well that interview didn't go so well either. Well at least I got a good sense of some riveting emotions from this one man.
