Pretty awesome, right? Obviously the film ends on a cliffhanger and if you want the story to continue Bat In The Sun is calling on the fans to help fund the next chapter in the story via Kickstarter.Click the image below to donate, you'll get some cool rewards for your contribution.

I also recently had the opportunity to chat with Bat in the Sun's Aaron Schoenke who not only wrote and directed the film but also portrayed Nightwing. The exclusive interview will be posted on CBM soon.

Be sure to head to Twitter and thank @BatintheSun for all their hard work!

Bat in the Sun Productions is a self-contained film and music production company. They are based in the Los Angeles area, 10 miles north of Hollywood California in the city of Calabasas. The company began in 2001 and was founded by Aaron Schoenke and Sean Schoenke. The work of BITS has collected many film festival awards, and has received notable attention from the film industry, as well as a loyal fan base.

For something that likely had a crap budget, it was pretty good... At least a little entertaining.

Remember guys this is a fan-film which was shot on a very limited budget and with minimal resources. It's not a big budget Warner Bros. picture.

@AiyalKilU If you want a dialogue heavy story, I recommend Patient J.

Bravo, Mr. Fan Guy. It is better than most of the older tim Burton Batman movies.

That's quite an achievement for what I imagine was an incredibly small budget.

Makes me think that a live-action television show could be really well done. Get some better writers and a television budget, we could have an awesome weekly Batman-noir series on our hands!

@ TQB - Easy, they sell their bodies lol.

Actually, Robert Rodriguez volunteered for drug clinic trials in order to get the money he needed to make El Mariachi which was like $7000 or something like that.

Other than Dick's costume, this is a REALLY good short. I think the dialogue is better than the latest batfilms, as much as I like them.

This is another example of putting together quality material on a shoestring budget and making it look more expensive than it is.
