The Oscar-nominated actor almost lost the top secret script to Christopher Nolan's Batman film. Nominated for his role in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, Oldman revealed the story while doing Oscar press. Oldman said while staying at a hotel the script wouldn't go in the room safe, and he didn't want to carry it around in his bag so he hid it. He then forgot where he had put it, and feared it was gone. He said the feeling was "panic" because while some scripts have the ending left out, his was a complete script.

Oldman, of course, stars as Jim Gordon in Nolan's Batman Franchise. He will team-up with Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Morgan Freeman for the final film in the franchise The Dark Knight Rises opening July 20.
