For the people wondering if Liam Neeson was making his cameo in The Dark Knight Rises with the use of a flashback this toy might hold the key. This is a preview of the DC HeroClix: The Dark Knight Rises movie set figures, featuring Liam Neeson's character Henri Ducard, who would later take on the alias Ra's al Ghul.

Today we continue our previews of the DC HeroClix: The Dark Knight Rises movie set as we visit with a man who helped create the Dark Knight. From the film Batman Begins, we are pleased to present Henri Ducard!

Also on these clicks, Henri Ducard has a defensive special power, Is Ra’s al Ghul Immortal/, that says when Henri Ducard takes damage, stop turning his dial when this power is revealed. Henri Ducard can use Regeneraton, but if he does not heal when he uses this power, deal him 1 unavoidable damage. Possibly taking a click of damage if Regeneration fails is a bit of a negative, but having 2 clicks of a power that eliminates most damage from even the most powerful attack is a decent tradeoff.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

That scene they're depicting is straight from Batman Begins so I'm not sure that's new.

That's from Batman Begins (HeroClix also had characters from the various Marvel Studios solo movies in their range of figures for The Avengers remember).

Yeah, I think HeroClix is making figures for all three films.

It's strange how closely he resembles the comic version of his character.

Did anybody notice in "Arkham City" that Batman pronounces his name as "Rays" Al Ghul?

Nice.

@Fartman: Both Batman Begins and Arkham City pronounce it erroneously.
In the animated series and games, it's pronounced "reysh"
In Batman Begins it's "Rahs"
The CORRECT Arabic pronunciation of the name is
"RA-US", but Batman Begin's "Rahs" is close enough

read the card, it says one of his powers is regeneration, and the dust of smoke could be fear toxin or lazurus, this is so close to confirming his return (non flashback)

@gamecreatorjj

I think him returning is wishful thinking... I guess there is gonna be a metaphorical approach to his supposed 'return', implying that his work is continued, ''regenerated'' via his student, Bane, and his daughter, Thalia.

@DrGreeceLove no it says on the card, when he takes damage, he regenerates, and thats not comics raas

OThe card says one of his powers is regeneration. If he returns non flashback, this is probably confirming a form of The Lazarus Pit.

@Supes17
Both the Language Department of the UCLA and Denny O'Neil say that it's pronounced "Raysh".

@gamecreatorjj @SmellofDuty

I don't wanna ruin it for you, but while I was having a chat yesterday with Chris over the phone he told me: ''only way you are seeing Liam in my epic conclusion to the trilogy is 'dead and buried' flashback. I don't want no zombie frankenstein shit in my movie, you know??''
