We recently got a first look at Lady Gaga in full costume as Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à Deux, and some more photos and videos from the New York set of Todd Phillips' sequel have now been shared online.
This time, we see Quinn pause as she's walking up the steps and approach a woman in the crowd before planting a kiss on her lips. From the looks of the video, it's more of a Godfather Part 2 "you broke my heart, Fredo" kiss than a passionate smooch, and the recipient seems more than a little taken aback!
We also have a photo of one of the protestors holding a copy of the Gotham Examiner, and it features Harley's Arkham mugshot along with the headline, "Crazy in Love."
The Joker sequel won't take place in the same world as the main DCU, and will be known as an "Elseworlds" project, along with Matt Reeves' The Batman movies, J.J. Abrams' Superman film, and Constantine 2 (if they happen).
Plot details are still mostly under wraps, but we do know that the majority of the film will take place in Arkham Asylum and feature musical numbers.
Joker: Folie à deux is set to hit theaters on October 4, 2024.
