When word reached us that Christopher Nolan would be bringing Bane to the screen again for his Batman threequl many wondered exactly how this pretty out there character would translate in Nolan's more real world take on things. Would he be ingesting Venom? The powerful serum from the comics which enhances his strength and bulk to epic proportions.
Then we saw our first glimpse of Tom hardy as bane, and he was sporting some type of face mask that could well be some type of breathing apparatus to get the Venom into his system. Well check out the following excerpt from a report on the actor from YoungHollywood.com..
In the upcoming film, Hardy plays one of Batman’s main adversaries, Bane, (WARNING: SPOILER ALERT!) a former child-prisoner who was experimented on with Venom, a highly addictive steroid that grants the user inhuman strength and agility.
