Last week, Warner Bros. released an official announcement highlighting the locations where The Dark Knight Rises six minute prologue will be available to watch. The footage will be shown only in select 70MM IMAX theaters before Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, ultimately meaning that many won't be able to see the footage despite being located near to regular digital IMAX theaters. Here are the results in full.

If we were to run this poll again following the release of descriptions of prologue, the results may look a little different, but it's still clear that the majority of you WILL indeed be heading to an IMAX screen next week for six minutes of footage from The Dark Knight Rises. For those of you who voted for one of the last three options, have you now changed your mind after reading about what is shown in the prologue? Sound off with your thoughts below.

STARRING:

Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman
Michael Caine as Alfred
Gary Oldman as Commissioner Jim Gordon
Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox
Tom Hardy as Bane
Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake
Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate
Josh Pence as Ra's Al Ghul

RELEASE DATE: July 20th, 2012

An addict will do anything to get his/her fix! No matter the obstacle, they will make it happen. I'll be spending $50 plus the $20 for a ticket to watch 6 minutes of a film that doesn't come out until next year. For all the trouble I'll sit and watch MI:GP but I really don't want to. Mission Impossible is def going to earn an extra 100 million due to TDKR prologue. That's just Free money because otherwise, I would have just watched MI on HBO.

Excited to see it on the six-story IMAX screen here in Seattle, but not looking forward to the subsequent Tom Cruise fest following. Hopefully M:I-4 will be watchable, but all I'll be doing is thinking about Bats.

I knew I'd be disappointed by Operation Early Bird, waited on the site for the last 40 minutes and got a "No data received"... although it does redirect to operationearlybird.com/map.html so I'm guessing the map from earlier was true
