Set Photos From The Dark Knight Rises

Arriving in Pennsylvania with much fanfare, Warner Bros.' production of The Dark Knight Rises has officially begun filming a scene at a small home in Lawrenceville.

Millionaire Playboy from comingsoon.net was there and managed to snap a few photos from the set, including Christopher Nolan himself looking over the location.

Details of the scene are few, but the site notes that a small amount of fake snow was spotted on the ground (and can be seen in the images below). This news certainly fits with yesterday's report that said we'd be seeing Gotham City in the wintertime.

Set for release on July 20, 2012, The Dark Knight Rises will complete Nolan's Batman trilogy and will feature the return of Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, along with new roles for Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple and many more.

Why do people post boring photos like this? This shows me almost NOTHING about the movie. I don't even see any of the actors. It would be cooler if it actually showed them in costume too. This is just houses and a taxi with the word Gotham on it.

I always imagined a scene in Act 1 involving Gordon and Blake patrolling a neighborhood in which they discuss how the GPD needs to work overtime to fill the void left by an exiled Batman. Nice find @luffycapri!

I don't know why people post their logos straight on the pic...putting it in the bottom or top corners will suffice.

If they put it on the corners or bottom, it would be cut away and then someone would steal the image as their own.

@ThaBatman i have a feeling Catwoman's gonna be the Two Face of TDKR. They'll show Selina Kyle in the trailers, but they wont show her in her full Catwoman costume until the movie's out.

All of you complaining about how "lame" and "stupid" these pictures are...WHY THE [frick] DID YOU CLICK ON THIS ARTICLE THEN?! GET A LIFE. Back on topic, these pictures are sweet. I'm loving the look of this neighborhood. I also love how hands on Christopher Nolan is with all his films. He friggin' rules. TDKR FTW

If this displayed pictures from the last film, you couldnt get mad. The title of the article clearly explains this.

For some reason these pics remind me of Batman Begins when Batman visits Gordon's neighborhood. This seems like maybe we will get some Gordon background with his family.

And Bale had some deliberate beard, looking tired as shish in the press conference. This propably has to do something with flashbacks.

Are they still filming part of this in Chicago? And if not what is the reason?
