The Batman 2 Leak Confirms Villains; Reveals Surprising Cast And Character Details - Major Spoilers

Some major spoilers for The Batman - Part II have surfaced from an unlikely source: the makeup team behind Heidi Klum's latest Halloween costume.

Mike Marino's ProRenFX, which also worked on Matt Reeves' beleaguered sequel, shared a since-deleted behind-the-scenes photo of Klum's gruesome, severed hand outfit, and some very interesting details relating to the long-awaited movie were spotted in the background.

Along with a container labeled "Zsasz," one labeled "Owl 3," and another labeled "Koch" (possibly suggesting that actor Sebastian Koch will also don prosthetics to play his mysterious character), there's a face mold that would seem to confirm that Brian Tyree Henry is indeed playing Harvey Dent/Two-Face.

Though the facial scarring on the left side isn't particularly extensive, this would be in keeping with the more "grounded" aesthetic of Reeves BatVerse.

If Henry is playing Dent, we can probably assume the rumor that Sebastian Stan is actually playing twisted serial killer Victor Zsasz is also accurate.

There also appears to be a mold of Peter McDonald, who plays corrupt GCPD pffocer Willian Kenzie, and one side of this mold is even more scarred-up than Henry's. This could indicate that both Kenzie and Dent will be victims of the same attacker, possibly Zsasz.

Scarlett Johansson's name doesn't appear on any of the molds or props, so we're still in the dark about her role, despite rumors that she will play a version of Poison Ivy. A blonde woman many believe to be the actress' stunt double was recently spotted riding shotgun in the Batmobile. The same woman was then seen standing with a mysterious child as Wayne was being resuscitated by Alfred.

Production recently resumed, with Steven Soderbergh stepping behind the camera to finish principal photography after Reeves was forced to leave the set to deal with an ongoing family matter.

"Just to be clear, I am not leaving The Batman Part II," Reeves clarified on social media after the news broke. "I am profoundly grateful to Steven for coming to my aid during this challenging time to help me finish principal photography. Thank you to all for your concern and well wishes."

Robert Pattinson has shared his thoughts on Soderbergh stepping in to help finish the film.

"I am so happy he's come on to help Matt," the Primetime star told GamesRadar. "It's incredibly generous of him – and he's doing it in the loveliest way. It's completely selfless."

"I think Matt had put so much work into the script, and we're almost done," Pattinson continued. "So for someone to come in and say, 'I just want to help Matt do it; I want to do it in conjunction with him and just get it to the edit.' And to have someone who's as talented as Steven doing it is great."

Pattinson also confirmed that cameras are rolling again. "I think they're in production already. And I'm starting in a couple of days."

DC Studios previously revealed that Soderbergh was the one who approached Reeves with the offer of help. Reeves is believed to have completed around two-thirds of the film, so the Ocean's Eleven director does still have a bit of work ahead of him.

The Batman - Part II is set to hit theaters on February 18, 2028.

Billion with a B. The first DCU movie to do such a feat. After Man of Tomorrow becomes the highest grossing Superman movie without Batfleck or Gal-El

Court of Owls and Talon, nice.

@Truebeliever333 - I think Owl 3 could just be a member of The Court.

I still have a theory that in Reeves more grounded take , Zsasz is the Court’s enforcer.

@TheVisionary25 - If it is a trilogy then it would make sense for the middle movie to introduce the Court of Owls but not have the full confrontation with it. So, Talon would be third movie. Zsasz would be a pawn and Riddler maybe was as well.

@Truebeliever333 - nah , I don’t think Riddler is connected to The Court but I could see those themes of social inequality still continuing in this.

Idk about this, it could be a setup that was done on purpose to fake out fans. If you look at the shelf there’s also a bust of Trump, Dan Aykroyd’s Judge from “ Nothing but Trouble”, a second old man bust and then the two separate bust with facial scaring/deformities-including the one with Brian Tyree Henry.

@BruceWayng - I doubt they'd go to all that trouble just to put fake spoilers out there, but yeah I'm not sure wth the other molds are about.

@BruceWayng - Glad I wasn’t the only one to see that Trump mold. Thought I was losing my mind for a tick. Maybe that was for Sebastian Stan in “The Apprentice”? 😂

@MarkCassidy - Well it did get everyone to start posting about the movie talk about something besides the delays and issues/accidents.

The true test will be whether WB/DC makes everyone take these pics down. If they stay up then this was done on purpose.

I think there’s going to be a twist here… there’s a few face moulds there with damaged parts of their faces, Charles Dance I believe included.

I think each character in the film is gonna be attacked by someone (possibly Zsas) and that’s how we get Two Face in this film. They can’t do the accidental burning, or acid thrown in face route. I think Harvey’s going to be a genuine victim of one of these attacks, and that’s what creates his Two-Face persona.

@Se4M4NSt4ine - Might be acid attacks, which is a truly horrifying reality.

Interesting…

I’m ngl , I have been pretty attached to the idea of Sebastian Stan playing Harvey Dent since I think he would kill it but Brian Tyree Henry would be great too as a more sympathetic version of the character imo.

My theory is the Court of Owls led by Charles Dance’s character are sending their enforcer who is Zsasz to take out people that can oppose them like Harvey which at one point they try to do but only disfigure him hence he starts going after them with Batman caught in the middle.

Anyway whatever it is , I can’t wait for this film as a big fan of the first one!!.

Unsurprisingly the usual suspects are bashing this film/rooting for its failure and the Batman Crime Saga universe now all because of a race swap when the first film already had a race swap with Catwoman. Lmao

My worry with this is that since we now know who Stan is playing, and he's the bigger name actor, Two-Face is going to be a supporting character again and not really get much screen time or agency over events. We already know that the Court of Owls is in the mix and whoever ScarJo plays. We've yet to see a solid, live-action, Two-Face driven, plot.
