I gotta say the fight scenes looks really tight, like a few people that was my only real complaint of Nolan's Bat films, sometimes they were straight bad, but Selina's flip n Bane's uppercut just got me excited lol... Big Batman fan so hope they go out with a bang on this one!

@BigEars- My thoughts exactly. I'm pretty sure that's who it is. Because him and JGL had a fight scene where he broke his nose when JGL was told to make the punches look real.

Nice analysis.

I can see theDark Knight Returns influence now. In Millers TDKR Batman comes out of retirement and takes on a powerful gang that runs the streets of Gotham, led by the Mutant Leader ( i know lol).

It looks like Nolan has combined some of The Mutant Leader (ML) with Bane. Batman loses his first battle with ML in front of a large group of people. Unlike KnightFall, Batman's loss is publically kniwn. His second battle with ML, Batman has to make sur he beats ML in front of his gang to ensure moral is destroyed.

In TDKR it looks like Batman's defeat will be public knowledge. And Batman will have to defeat Bane in daylight in front of Gotham to truly stop him and his new army.

Thanks for watching IgnurRant. I hadn't noticed that much of a parallel to Dark Knight Returns other than the retirement and Return, but you've made some nice observations. Catwoman's role might even be somewhat similar to that of the female Robin.

My take is this:

Catwoman is not looking into a cell-- she is on the other side of the door Batman is standing in front of, when Bane approaches from behind. Final fight.
