A fan made opening for The Dark Knight Rises that's all class. Definitely one of the best efforts to emerge, yet!

The Dark Knight Rises hype machine is slowly beginning to ramp up. Just yesterday, I reported that advanced IMAX screenings in NY were already sold out [L.A. is now sold out as well] and know we have this very inspired fan-made opening for the film. Also, the recently posted Lion King Rises mash-up has garnered over 1 million views on youtube [did anyone see that incredibly weird He-Man/Ghost Rider imitation?] making it a certified viral success. Expect more and more of these happenings to occur as we get closer to the July premiere date. And again,it's strongly urged that you check Fandango if you plan on seeing TDKR on a Thursday Midnight IMAX screening as additional movie tickets in more areas could appear on the site without warning.

That actually was ok. I like that the opening sequence went along with the theme.

"But one of the things I like about the Nolan Batman films is that they don't have opening credits sequences"

I really loved that fan made sequence especially the music,It's perfectly bashed and mashed up together that it makes perfect sense for a end of Nolan's batman movies. The opening sequence animation was cheesy but still awesome in a way.

Bane looks like he just left a Mortal Kombat Convention

@alphamale80 - You are so right about the Batwing. It looks so stupid.

Huh? What? I guess it's okay, but not sure how something like that gets labeled as "class". It's a generic animated opening. To each their own.

I mean... okay. That was related, I guess.

"Ooh, it's sooo keool Kinny!" I mean, "The Coon Rises"!
I see a major flop com'in. Bane walking around in a coat the sherrif wore from "First Blood".

This better be epic or its an epic fail!

A drunk Bruce will be so original (Demon in a bottle NOT!)

I loved it. The only negative thig I would have about it would be the "Bane Chant" Other than that it's awesome. I loved it.

It's so disappointing that the actual movie won't have a b!tchin' title sequence like this.

You could watch this video instead of TDKR so you feel better and won't be disappointed.

@Mothra If you go on first night tell me how it goes. I'll be very interested. Sounds like your hype machine has long passed reality. Well see. hope it's better then a movie about being in dreams. Lol

Btw, Bane sounds so... menacing! Or is it... drunk? I wounder if they'll explain where he gets his explosives. That in itself would be an improvement

@spideyquad
wondering where bane gets his explosives is pretty retarded and petty.
how did Stark build a suit in his basement with clearly no way that could happen and Peter Parker making a suit that would cost thousands to make.
see my point?
Hating a film just because you want another to do better is very childish.

I don't see how TAS is incorporated here, but whatever. I know I come off as an unpleasable fanboy, but NOTHING about this movie has me excited, and its a shame because I really want to be. Batman and his universe is probably my favorite thing about comics. I hope it surprises me the weekend it comes out.

You just can't go from playing Arkham City, a fanboy's wet dream, where every character (except Hush, but that's forgiveable) is depicted with accuracy, where Grey DeLisle voices a seductive Catwoman and the scenery comes to life...... to this, and be happy.

This was good, but it would look more authentic if the cast was in the same order as it's displayed in the trailer. Plus, I just prefer Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard's work on the Batman films, than Elfman's recycled Darkman score.
