Nolan Signs for Batman 3

Nolan Signs for Batman 3

It was recently announced that "The Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan will next be helming a sci-fi film called "Inception" for Warner Bros. If you're worried that this will somehow impact a third Batman movie, don't be.

Batman-on-Film has found out from three separate sources that Nolan's recent deal with Warners for the film "Inception" includes an agreement between the studio and himself to helm his second sequel to "Batman Begins."

This means that Warner Bros is more than happy to fund Nolan's "Inception" as long as he directs a third Batman film.

In addition, IGN has just found out that Nolan is the only screenwriter currently attached to Batman 3. Studios and guild members are required to submit work lists to the guilds of the projects that they are on. Warner Bros submitted a listing that shows Nolan as the sole writer. Apparently, neither Jonathan Nolan or David Goyer are officially involved yet.

ThommyRazor,As a new poster, let me just warn you, do not talk crap on anything unless you are positive you are right. I got crucified a few weeks back and the ball bashing lasted for two weeks. Haha. I'm so not kidding. I'm fairly new too. Anyway...

The 3rd film needs to have a solid villian. Not the penguin or the riddler. Thats [frick]ing gay. Come on guys, dont you want to see Bats actually have a decent fight on his hands??? What about Deathstroke or Bane? (Maybe not Bane.)

This reminds me of the type of relationship that Stanley Kubrick had with Warner Brothers back in the day. They really gave him total freedom in his creativity.

Not saying that Nolan is the next Kubrick, but he might just carve a place in film lore history on his own.

And Mattlask, it was the bone claws thing right? Yeah, us comic nerds dream of moments like that. Whew, it wasn't pretty....

I dont think so. Because Wb is paying for inception so he can come back "DO" another batman movie...so inception is not a BATMAN movie.

The Deal is WB will pay for inception's budget so Nolan will come back and finish "Batman Trilogy." THat sound slike a good plan to me. Let Nolan be the first to make an awesome trilogy, hes the only director I want for this, and Bale said he will return, as long as there is NO ROBIN...and knowing Nolan as the FANS know him...he wont ad robin, and he will want to out DUE his TDK movie....and go out with a BANG.

I will see inception. Nolan is awesome.

I completely trust Nolan, especially after seeing his first two Batman movies. Bane would be a fantastic villain, if they do it correctly. Smart Bane...not mindless idiot Bane. But nobody is really considering one of Batman's greatest villains (after Joker of course!). HUSH! It would be perfect! For those who doubt it, read the Hush story lines from the comics. AND STOP SAYING THAT TWO FACE DIED!! We never see him dead in the movie. They never show him dead, not breathing, or otherwise...(they cut to a short clip of him laying there and besides that...Gordon was supposed to be dead and that was used to fool the Joker as well as the audience) which I am sure is intentional so they might use him for the next film at least in part. It would be perfect for the Hush story. Two face disappears to get himself repaired both physically and mentally and reappears to help Batman defeat Hush (minus the Robin part of the story because we all know Robin would destroy these nearly perfect films). Oh, and you morons who keep saying that Catwoman was a prostitute before becoming her alter ego are MORONS. Read the original Batman, she was revealed to be a socialite turned jewel thief NOT a prostitute. Kane and Finger's Catwoman origin story is the only one you should care about and that is why Nolan is so successful. He is going back to the origins of the characters and adding his twists to make them something all his own. Nolan is a GOD and we should shut up and trust in his vision.

(please read)

it should trully end at four, and never allow batman come onto the big screen by another crew/cast.

The Dark Knight Returns:

1- joker in asylum (nicholson)

2- riddler will be a mobster and a rat for the investigation, while edward will be the investigator (johnny depp)

3- hush will affect the wayne side (dicaprio)

4- batman will be known as an outlaw, which it includes all copy cats to be arrested

5- salina kyle become the love of bruce, and yet he don't know about her being catwoman. (still unsure)

The Dark Knight's Endgame- plot/villian/add on:

how can bruce wayne/batman find their true place in gotham city?

villian: mr. freeze, yet not as the originality of his character. a mobster who looses his wife, and begins to loose his warmth after the death of his wife.

now in my opinion... robin should be added, and it should be done RIGHT. For a spin off movie of robin at the end of the film can be done, 'cause i dont want him to stay with him. i want him to walk away after the defeat of the mob, and batman showing his identity.

you got to change everything around now, and you must add things to make it all sensible. i can do that, and if none of you believe me... try me.

Kyle - maybe for that spin off movie we can have Grayson breaking away from Batman's shadow to become Nightwing.
