Along with fellow Steelers members Ben Roethlisberger, Troy Polamalu, Mike Wallace and former Steelers coach Bill Cowher, ex-football player Hines Ward was given a brief cameo as a member of the Gotham Rogues football team, who is seen in the trailer sprinting for a touchdown while the football field behind him collapses thanks to Bane.

From Ward:
I've run scared before but I really ran scared that day," Ward told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "They told me, 'Don't look back.' I felt the explosion when I was running. I had to wear earplugs. Usually, I'm smiling when I'm running, but that day I was actually screaming.

The Dark Knight Rises is directed by Christopher Nolan(The Prestige, Inception) and stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, and Anne Hathaway. The film will be unleashed upon audiences on the 20th of this month.
