Great Photoshop in the pics they ended up using!

I still can't believe that's really Heath Ledger! He really embodied The Joker as much as he could and really BECAME him. It's crazy. I don't think there will ever be a more dedicated portrayal!

R.I.P. Heath Ledger.

Bale, on the other hand... I just hate him as Batman and I absolutely hate that suit. Bale just looks stupid in it to me. The design certainly doesn't help... it doesn't even make him look intimidating! Just my opinion. *shrugs*

Right well almost completely unrelated to the article but I have just watched the Dark Knight returns part 1 and needed to tell someone.......holy moly that was the best batman animation, animation period I have ever seen and I have seen it all, "you dont get it son, this is not a mud hole, this is an operating table." just so damn incredible, shame my son wont be able to watch it for another 5 years at least, just brilliant utterly brilliant

for me...both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight will always be the only Nolan's batman films i'd consider exist, just like Coppola's Godfather films to be taken seriously are just The Godfather and The Godfather, Part II.

sorry, but The Dark Knight Rises is just such a HUGE letdown that i wish Nolan & co. would go back in time and fix it..t'hell with respecting Ledger's Joker, they shouldn't've compromised and just do the BEST third chapter they could. ugh...i'm still pissed at how much disappointed i was with the movie. BB and TDK are just near perfect comic book super hero films (not just batman films)..i just can't believe how nolan drops the ball on the third one.

now, The Avengers is THE best LIVE-ACTION super hero film..as for general super hero film of all time remains to be THE INCREDIBLES.
