Lego Batman has found its Batgirl!
In a move that will only add on to her already illustrious CBM career, Rosario Dawson has signed on to voice Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Batgirl in Warner Bros.' upcoming The Lego Movie spin-off. She joins an impressive cast that already features Will Arnett (Arrested Development) reprising his role as the Dark Knight, Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) as his sidekick Robin, and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) as the villainous Joker.
This will be Dawson's latest foray into the CBM genre after her role in two Sin City movies, voicing Wonder Woman in DC's animated feature Justice League: Throne Of Atlantis, and voicing Artemis in DC's animated Wonder Woman film. In addition to those roles, she also currently stars as the Night Nurse on three of Marvel's Netflix series: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, & Luke Cage.
Chris McKay (Robot Chicken) will direct the project with a script from Seth Grahame-Smith (The Flash). Original Lego Movie directors, Phil Lord & Christopher Miller are on-board as producers.
