I was able to find a rooftop w/out any PA's around. I shot this with a 7D using the kit lens, it did surprisingly well for the distance and night time lighting. Seeing the coordination of the two helicopters, all of the vehicles, the traffic flow, pedestrians was impressive. All of the PA's we ran into were polite and professional, allowing us to watch but not film.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

Batman is leading the charge. At the end of the film. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Great theories on whats going on. I have to to say I like both interpretations:

1. Batman is being chased by the entire force- Maybe even directly extended from the ending of The Dark Knight itself.

2. The force is being led by Batman. Things would have to be pretty bad for the Police to accept Batman as a leader.

Seems like things are headed in an epic direction. Let's keep our eye on this one. As if you have to be told.

I wonder if Batman is gonna drive from roof top to roof top or some stupid shit like that. They make cops look like idiots in these Batman movies. Its one of the FEW things I don't like about the Nolans Batman movies.

NeoBaggins - 10/2/2011, 9:17 PM
If the Cops were smarter, Gotham wouldn't need Batman.

Counted 30 cop cars and 4 swat vans! My guess is that this will be at the beginning of the film! Batmans name will no doubt be cleared by the end, because if the dialogue rumors from the Blackgate breakout and others are true, Bane clearly knows of Harveys corruption, so I'm guessing Gordon will either hold a press conference telling why Batman took the blame, or pardon Batman! Anyway, it is bound to be epic!
