I woke up at 6am that day, checked my phone, and saw the email notification from Deadline saying, "Ben Aflek Cast As Batman". First, I wondered who Ben AFLEK is. Then I realised what awesome news it was. :)

I was on my Mac and saw the headline and thought.. "Well......that was, unexpected."

After a few minutes letting that sink in I didn't have a problem with it. Don't know why people were so up in arms about it. He'll do just fine.

I was taking a nap. Woke up to a text about two hours after it was announced. Saw I had several texts over that span. All pretty much saying Wtf? I assured my friends that things could always be worse. They could have cast Maggie Gyllenhaal and his googly eyes.

don't worry about this is the First Phase of the stupid spiteful fans. I was driving in my car, and my brother answered a text i got because i was driving, and read aloud "ben affleck is batman" from my friend. Of course I screamed profanity and almost crashed the car learning the news.

I had just turned my computer off to go watch a movie on TV...then I got a text from a buddy of mine. I didn't believe him because he's always joking around...This time he wasn't. He even sent me a link on my phone to the story on the Variety website. A few minutes later I read CNN's article...it was like the big bang all over again haha.

I hope Ben proves ALL of you doubters wrong!
