Batman and Superman are set to collide in Zack Snyder’s sequel, with Cavill commenting:

‘The next instalment, as we all know, is involving another rather important character, and i’m looking very forward to that interaction, because ultimately they’re two sides of the same coin.’

Argo director Affleck is set to take over from Christian Bale as The Caped Crusader, a controversial casting but one Cavill is happy with.

‘How they interact, how they clash and how they ultimately aim towards the same goal is going to be an interesting relationship,’ he added, ‘and I look forward to playing that with Ben especially.’

Can't wait for this film. It's going to be amazing. I genuinely think Ben looks like Bruce from TAS.

It's good to see that a role like this hasn't gone to Cavill's head (ie:him demanding more money).He seems to genuinely enjoy playing the part.I truly hope that Ben Kills this and gives everyone the Batman we've wanted for Years!Ive seen
4 Batmans in my time and 3 of them had good qualities but none of them have nailed it in my opinion.Keaton came the closest,but we'll see.

@spideyboy

Yeah, that's predictable. Along with the "Marvel is in trouble now", "AOU ain't got nothing on this" quips like with Man of Steel this year. Lol

Hopefully this movie is less about fighting and more about showing the testament of how two completely different men can become the best of friends.

Ad much as I appreciated the Nolan trilogy I would hope the powers that be won't be so secretive about showing production pictures and giving us a glance of what's to come. I know a lot of people complain and whine about how much pre Avengers footage was shown before the movie but ultimately that helped the Avengers become the 3rd highest grossing movie of all time.

@Maestro because he needs to fart in that pic

If you think that BvS will be bigger than AoU, you are underestimating the power of the fangirls. Maybe we are more excited to see Batman and Superman in the same movie, but the fangirls want to see Chris Hemsworth's abs. I hope that both movies will do great, but let's face it, Avengers have a bigger audience.

Sage is insecure and afraid where CBMs are going especially with DC upping the game.

I can understand what he is saying about the different sides of the coin. Because Superman represents hope and Batman represents fear.

I can't wait to finally see Batman & Superman on the same screen. It is going to Rock.
