Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

 
Starring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman. Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016.

Everything involving Lex Luthor in this movie looks like absolute crap. Just cut him from the film and give us everything that looks awesome, which is literally EVERYTHING ELSE.

Batman and Superman look brilliant, both Marvel and DC have bought some fantastic costumes to the screen with most being more hit than miss.

Cannot wait for this movie.

Superman and Batman look [frick]ing majestic here ! I'm not sure about Eisenberg as Luthor, but from the latest trailer, his portrayal seems on point. Perfectly douchy and arrogant.

I've grew to like Jesse as Lex.

One of the positives about the casting is we won't see that stupid Lexsuit that Lex fights Superman in.

We will instead see a more mental Lex. One who uses his mind over his fists.

If you recall in Superman:TAS, Lex never wore his power suit so I hope they go that direction.

In all seriousness though, the LexCorp basketball thing is probably some publicity stunt that Lex is using to make himself look like the good guy.

Lex: "Yes, those awful aliens destroyed half the city, but look at this wonderful gym I have built for the children who have fallen victim to this horrible tragedy."

Cause I honestly don't believe Jesse's Lex is a basketball kind of guy, he looks like he's more of the hackey-sack sort.

The number one thing this movie needs to do is to finally provide characterization for the DCEU superman because he was pretty much a blank slate for the entirety of Man of Steel, it's the chief problem with the film. If they can give us solid and defined characterizations, without having to spell everything out (show don't tell) then this will be a huge step forward. Terrio's involvement gives me hope in that regard.
