@DoubleD - I know you don't wish the film to fail. Because you would never want anyone else to wish you fail in your own work or passion.

Jeez fellas lighten up. Its been a long time since I've been out of school but I always thought a B was a pretty good grade.

Anyways, where do people get these mondos? I have one myself from Man of Steel but I had to get it on eBay.

Im 50/50 on this film, didnt like quite a lot of it

but Ben Affleck was sooo good that he was more of a Lex than Jess ever was. I was looking forward to Jesses Lex and actually supported the decision when he was cast, but after seeing it. Nope did not like him

I think this movie is a roller coast because it has so many highs and lows. I don't hate it or even dislike it, I like it just don't love it. I'm seeing it again today in RPX. A friend of mine saw it a second time yesterday and says it was better the second time because of the understanding of the plot but no one can deny that Snyder has some serious problems with getting his story to flow with his odd editing and pacing.

@HugoStrange87 - The movie had no highs and lows. It was all lows. They would create sad moments and then make the characters brood over what happened in the following scenes. Even the scene were Superman was saving people had sad depressing music playing over it.

@Demongod20 - that's your opinion which your entitled to which my comment is my own opinion. As I said I like the movie I just didn't love it like I hoped. Its a movie with flaws just as Man of Steel was but I like them both.

@HugoStrange87 - While I agree that Snyder has problems on how he edit SOME of his movies, you also have to wonder, when you take a look at his movies, 300 & Watchmen were both more successful, more cohesive, and more beautifully edited movies of Snyder and all of those movies were less divisive, critics and audience wise. HOWEVER MOS and BVS were BOTH critically panned/divisive movies, both of which also has problems with editing and pacing.. Something just doesn't add up. If he's solely to blame on the pacing and editing issues of MOS/BVS, then how was he able to make better movies such as Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen, & 300? The reason: It all boils down to the FILM EDITOR on those movies. Snyder has a unique vision to his films, some hits, some misses. Those 2 movies who hits the right spot, watchmen & 300, both comicbook adaptations, were all FILM EDITED by WILLIAM HOY. Those 2 movies who missed the mark, BVS & MOS? both those films were FILM EDITED by DAVID BRENNER. The same guy who is the FILM EDITOR of the following movies:

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011)
Man of Steel (2013)
300: Rise of an Empire (2014)
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
2012 (2009)
The Day After Tomorrow (2004)
World Trade Center (2006)

Not dissing the guy, cause he also edited THE PATRIOT, Independence Day, and Born on the Fourth of July. But I think this guy is having a problem editing movies that are based on comic-books/cgi heavy films. Only movie he did right that was effects heavy was Independence Day. Not saying Snyder's not at fault here, but he made successful movies, 2 of which based on comicbooks. Snyder shouldn't be crucified alone for the faults of MOS and BVS. David Brenner, with his critically panned films, should also share the blame. Should they really fire Snyder just because of the faults that wasn't entirely his? Hopefully, he'll fire Brenner and bring back Hoy to edit his movies and successfully bring his vision to life, to form a more cohesive, and strong stories in his movies. If not, just hire a new and better film editor for the upcoming JL movies. He was able to bring back Larry Fong, who successfully translated Snyder's concept into a visually tantalizing treat, added Chris Terrio to polish a turd of a script by David Goyer, now all he has to do is to either bring back William Hoy or hire a new editor, fire David Brenner and keep David Goyer AWAY from his movies entirely and let Chris Terrio do everything story-wise and script-wise in its entirety. Then He'll have a successful DCEU CBM.

@ck1986 - You absolutely have a point. I don't hate Snyder at all, I just think to myself what is he thinking? Is he bumping and snorting adderal while going into post production on MOS and BvS? Again, these movies aren't bad but aren't great either. Like I said before I like them both but I just feel like he gets so carried away. I actually like all the Snyder movies I have seen (Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen, MOS, and BVS) and I've never seen that Owl movie or Sucker Punch but I honestly don't have an interest to. It just doesn't make sense as to why his vision goes awry.

Getting a B from CinemaScore is worrisome because it measures how general audiences reacted to the film on its debut, a moment where most of the viewers tend to be very excited to see the film. To put into perspective, Age of Ultron and Ant-Man got an A, Man of Steel and The Dark World, an A-, and Thor, B+. Other films that got a B were Green Lantern, Catwoman, Ghost Rider and Elektra. In other words, bad company for Batman v. Superman.
