Just in case you've had enough Star Wars for today, we have some juicy details about one of the big fight scenes in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. You'll surely recall those shots from the latest trailer of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in full-on battle mode against a mysterious opponent? Well, apparently that's none other than Doomsday, who has been rumored to be one of the movie's villains for quite a while now.

You may have already guessed that it might be Superman's old enemy - or at least an equally powerful being if they're going toe-to-toe with Diana - but how about some extra info about what happens during their scrap? According to heroic Hollywood's El Mayimbe, at one point Wonder Woman is able to sever the beast's hand with her sword, only for it to grow back as a bone blade! Presumably at this point the two clash swords and continue the fight, but nothing else is revealed about that.

What's your thoughts on this? Did you figure it was Doomsday throwing down with Wondy in the trailer? Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will be with us on March 25, 2016.

I'm actually pretty sure it will be Bizarro - Luthor never made Doomsday, but in New 52 he created Bizarro. So far, it seems Lex Luthor makes whatever the villain is with Zod's body

Well they put a huge picture of WW fighting Doomsday in their tweets, Facebook postings, guess the spoiler warnings aren't really necessary.

I would've really liked if they waited on Doomsday, if this is true. He's kind of a big thing to tackle on just the second DC outing.

Oh god I hope they don't [frick] this up... Dangerously close to Spiderman 3 territory with the villains they’re adding. For this movie there should only be 1 main antagonist with touches of other baddies so whet our appetite

Doomsday is the perfect "We need something for our heroes to unite and punch" type of character.......not sure why people think he is "too big to tackle" or that it is "too soon" for him. I highly highly highly highly doubt they have the Death of Superman storyline in their plans. Some things just shouldn't happen in live action.

Great news Doomsday will be awesome. I always wanted to see another Superman villain who's yet to appear in a film used. Wonder Woman will be great in the film too

So El Maybe just said that Wonder Woman is fighting Doomsday to back up his 'SCOOP' about Doomsday in BvS?

This is almost as bad as his 'SCOOP' that T'Chaka is dead in Civil War

Sounds epic.
I bet it's after Doomsday throws her against the rubble, Gal looks PISSED OFF in that moment of the trailer.

If Doomsday is in this, then I'm so happy they're not revealing it or showing him.
Movies these days always ruin the villains, Ant Man and F4 recently for example.
They spoiled the whole look months in advance.

I want to be shocked and amazed in the theatre when I see the bad guy.
There's no surprise anymore

I'm pretty sure she's fighting Superman.

She's seen with Bruce, and they know each other. Bruce probably asks her help in that party scene.

Heroic Hollywood is pure BS.

I don't know why people dismiss Doomsday saying its too soon or to big. He is a villain who can goe toe to toe with the heroes but has no personality. It makes perfect sense to pair him with Lex Luthor who can't match up against the heroes physically but is a very deep character. It sounds good to me

In Smallville Doomsday was the son of Zod.

For the second time, I'm feeling stoked about this movie. I think it was a great decision to only show sups and the Batman, hopefully they're so much more to this movie.
