Man of Steel's Krypton set opening sequence was a highlight of the 2013 movie, so the fact that Weta Digital are working on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is something to most definitely get excited over. In the lengthy video interview with Collider below (which is well worth watching for updates on everything from the Avatar sequels to their work on The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies), Weta's Joe Letteri promises another standalone scene in Zack Snyder's 2016 sequel.

This is very interesting to think about. He confirms that it's not the teaser which was shown at Comic-Con, as you can see by skipping ahead to the 9:25 mark, so it will likely be another major sequence of some sort. Doomsday? Batman battling Superman? We'll just have to wait and see...
