There's been a lot of speculation about how Robin will factor into Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the greater DC Extended Universe, but a new report claims to confirm the identity of which Boy Wonder was taken out by the Clown Prince of Crime. Check it out!

There have been a lot of very interesting rumours (The Batman being an adaptation of "Under the Hood") and crazy theories (Dick Grayson becoming the second Joker a la The Dark Knight Strikes Back) about the role of Robin in the shared universe which will kick off with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but Latino-Review has reiterated some information we've heard a fair few times in the past which might just put your minds at ease. Their sources tell them that the DC Extended Universe's murdered Robin is indeed Jason Todd and that Dick Grayson just gets a mention in this movie at some point. Again, this really isn't anything we haven't heard before, but it's Christmas Eve, so this is pretty much as good as news gets! Regardless, there's no denying the fact that it's good to have yet another indication that Zack Snyder isn't going to do anything too crazy with his take on the unique connection between Batman, The Joker, and Robin, don't you guys think?

Hopefully this is true. Not that I've heard too many people sing Snyder's praises but I don't have that much faith in the guy especially if he's going to kinda of be the Kevin Feign of the DCU. His movies aren't even really hit or miss. They're either somewhat crap or that "it wasn't great but okay. Not sure how I felt about it" kind of movies in my opinion. Man of Steel was okay and I somewhat enjoyed Watchmen. The dude just isn't really anything special so until he proves me wrong I won't get my hopes up.

Oh well, if it turns out to be true it's gonna be nice to see a possible adaptation of Under the Red Hood. If not, I'd also love to see Hush, and maybe with some Gates of Gotham and Court of Owls thrown in for a later film

@ManCalledSting I get it man, but all I want is for the content on the front to be respectable and actually not be 99,9% rehash of what we already knew. It's like this site is the last guy on the human centipede. The "back" can be full of all shits known to man Idc and I also don't care if it's Christmas (oh and really??! that's the reason?!!) and as for the rumors, well you can run with them but for god sake, make sure it has at least some validity and isn't something we all suspected.I love this site but sometimes it just makes me cringe.

@DrDanger I was thinking the same thing awhile back. What if Robin was killed by Batman? Make sense with the "jokes on you" message. And the comment about how many good guys in 20 years of gotham. I think this could work. Batfleck is obviously a little twisted up it appears. Having to kill your sidekick would do that for sure. Lol

This is great news, but isn't a shocker too. I hope this means Tim Drake will be Robin then. I also hope Cassandra Cain will be Batgirl, but if she can't be her hopefully Black Bat at least. I also hope Stephanie Brown will be a member of the Batfamily too. It is about time the female Bat members get some love.
