BLACK ADAM Total Film Magazine Covers Reveal A New Look At The DCEU's Justice Society Of America

Black Adam is the next big superhero movie coming our way in 2022 (after that, we only have Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Shazam! Fury of the Gods left before the New Year), and it's a release we're definitely intrigued by. All signs point to it being an important next chapter in the DCEU, primarily thanks to some big debuts.

Alongside the Man in Black, of course, we're going to see the Justice Society of America on the big screen for the first time, and with the Justice League sidelined after the 2017 movie flopped, they could take centre stage moving forward.

It's an impressive roster, anyway, with Hawkman, Atom Smasher, Cyclone, and Dr. Fate among the team's founders. Some big names are absent, though there's nothing to say the original Green Lantern and Flash can't make their presence felt in the not-too-distant future.

Ultimately, only time will tell how important the Justice Society is, especially when Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav is in the midst of putting together an ambitious 10-year plan.

Take a closer look at both of Total Film's Black Adam covers below:

From New Line Cinema, Dwayne Johnson stars in the action-adventure Black Adam under the direction of Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise). Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods - and imprisoned just as quickly - Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.

Johnson stars alongside Aldis Hodge (One Night in Miami) as Hawkman, Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I've Loved Before) as Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi (Sex/Life) as Adrianna, Marwan Kenzari (Murder on the Orient Express) as Ishmael, Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets) as Cyclone, Bodhi Sabongui (A Million Little Things) as Amon, and Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) as Dr. Fate.

Black Adam will electrify audiences in theaters when it's released on October 21, later this year!

@bobbo68 - that's my only issue with the rock in this role. No ears, no wig... dude just wanted to be himself in the suit

@bobbo68 - The Rock is insecure and doesn’t want to look goofy.
