BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Action Figure Offers Closer Look At Atlantean Villain Attuma

A newly revealed Black Panther: Wakanda Forever action figure offers a closer look at the villainous Attuma, a comic book rival of Namor the Submariner's whose role in this movie largely remains a mystery.

More merchandise for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been revealed, and this time, it's an Attuma "Build-a-Figure." A piece of the villain will be available with each figure in the new Marvel Legends line, with them all eventually coming together to create this mysterious character.

While comic book fans will be familiar with Namor the Submariner's fellow Atlantean, we don't know how he'll be reinvented for the MCU. For example, he may not even be a bad guy!

Alex Livinalli is playing Attuma, though with no major roles to his name (he's appeared in a lot of big TV shows, but primarily in minor parts), we're anticipating the character being more muscle than anything else. On the page, Attuma has frequently attempted to take Namor's crown for himself, setting out to rule over Atlantis.

What we can say for sure is that the villain looks awesome. While the Atlanteans have been redesigned for the MCU (with a South American, Aztec aesthetic), that's not necessarily a bad thing, and we're intrigued to see them in action this November.

In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livanalli.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives in theaters on November 11, later this year. Take a closer look at the MCU's take on Attuma in the images below!
