Black Panther: Wakanda Forever promises to be a big movie on a number of levels, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Dominique Thorne's Riri Williams is a huge deal. Marvel Studios has already confirmed that she'll take centre stage in an Ironheart TV series, while the young hero will almost certainly factor into the Armor Wars project also in the works for Disney+.
However, while we thought Riri would first suit up in one of those shows, The Cosmic Circus' Lizzie Hill has claimed that she will, in fact, blast into action in the upcoming Black Panther sequel.
We'd bet on the genius inventor revealing a rudimentary suit of armour in this movie that'll no doubt see some upgrades by the time all is said and done (probably with a little Wakandan tech seeing as they've already helped outfit the MCU's new Captain America). Very little has been revealed about Riri's role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, though she will be in M.I.T. and possibly teaming up with Shuri.
In related news, Williams recently took to Instagram to confirm that she's wrapped work on the movie and told fans she will "see [them] in November." Even though there have recently been unsubstantiated rumours that the sequel might be delayed, there's nothing to indicate that's actually the case.
As for Ironheart, she looks set to be the MCU's new "Iron Man" and is no doubt going to be a major player moving forward. Time will tell how her story ties into whatever is going on in Wakanda!
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently set to hit theaters on November 11, later this year!
