BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Rumored Plot Details Reveal Plans For Namor The Submariner And Okoye

Some rumoured plot details for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever have been revealed, and as well as teasing big plans for Okoye, we may also know what brings Namor the Submariner to the surface. Check it out!

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was recently pushed back to November 11, 2022, and there's a huge amount of intrigue surrounding Ryan Coogler's sequel. The script was rewritten in the wake of Chadwick Boseman's tragic death, but no official details have been shared about who will suit up as Black Panther in place of T'Challa.

Recently, moderators on Reddit shared some verified information (meaning this wasn't just posted by some kid with a penchant for fan-fiction), and that includes some interesting new details about the Black Panther sequel.

Apparently, Danai Gurira's Okoye will don the Black Panther suit at some point. According to the post she isn't T'Challa's full-time replacement.

Elsewhere in this leak, it's noted that the conclusion of Eternals - which has something to do with the ocean - is what aggravates Namor the Submariner and brings the Atlantean to the surface.

It's also pointed out that Black Adam was being filmed pretty much next door to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and while Dwayne Johnson supposedly visited the set on multiple occasions, it's unknown whether he'll make a cameo appearance. We'd love to see him in the MCU, though.

These are just rumours, of course, but there's certainly a lot here to mull over.

The People's Champ playing BOTH Marvel and DC characters with pointy ears.

CAN'T MAKE THIS UP, lel!

Jokes aside, it's no longer interesting for me to see Namor in a Black Panther movie, but i do kinda want to see him in an F4 movie tho.

If you know...you know.

Unless we want to set the stage for AvX tho...in that case, it could be interesting...

@Doomsday8888 - I’ll take him wherever I can but I definitely hear ya.Not so excited about this movie, they should’ve waited or something or recast.I love Okoye but don’t want to see here as Black Panther.Same goes for Shuri.I could get behind Killmonger somehow picking up the mantle but that plot makes zero sense, nevermind the fact he’s dead but he’s kindve a psychopath. It’s a shame but if anyone can pull off a badass Black Panther movie without Black Panther it’s definitely Coogler but he’s kinda been dealt a shitty hand

Literally the only one left who can take the mantle is mbaku. And I really don't like the idea of him being in the role. Plus it just sounds so messy getting into the Atlantis stuff while also having a storyline of finding someone new for the crown.

Just recast tchalla. This alternative really isn't shaping up well at all.

@Origame - I’d go with Denzel Washington’s son. George Washington.

Look I am a dad OK? I had to get it out of my system

@Origame - I'm kinda hoping they just go with a new character entirely. Not a recast or an existing character. Marvel Studios (re-)invented great characters in the past, so I'm sure they can do it again

@Origame - I agree. despite I preferred either Mbaku or Okoye herself as the new Black Panther, they should just recast T'Challa.

@TheWalkingCuban - George Washington was the President, John David Washington is Denzel’s kid. But, I agree 100%

@duncboy - nice breakdown. But yeah man it’s really the only thing you can do and still have a good movie. Look at TDKR. What bullcrap. Joker’s locked up and we never get resolution on that awesome rivalry. Get Gosling, it’s called acting, I’m sure he can do an impersonation of Ledger’s joker. Maybe it would’ve been too much going on in TDKR but my guess is it would’ve been a completely different movie… can’t beat that!

Speaking of random internet posts that people believe, i read on this site the other day that Tombstone is in No Way Home. Apparently he kills one of the main characters. Not sure if it's true.

''moderators on Reddit shared some verified information''

This sentence feels so contradictory

And if ''Feige absolutely hates leaks''', then why would whoever the leaker is leak some stuff. Kinda feels like a [frick] you to a seemingly great boss to work for.

"Letitia Wright's Shuri was once a fan-favourite choice to take over that mantle, but things have changed following some controversial anti-vax sentiments shared by the actress!"

The report mentions NOTHING about Shuri...clearly an attempt to start another comments war.

M'Baku should be the one to take up the Black Panther mantle; I have no idea why they wouldn't do that.
VictorAlonzo
VictorAlonzo - 11/1/2021, 8:13 AM
@HeavyMetal4Life - Because T'Challa should be thriving in his Rulership. That's like saying Loki running Asgard in The Dark World.
Deklipz
Deklipz - 11/1/2021, 8:56 AM
@VictorAlonzo - If that plot point would have been due to a rewrite as a result of Chris Hemsworth dying it would be an apt comparison. However, there’s a huge difference in a story decision based on what they want the movie to be, rather than rewriting the story because of the lead actors death.
VictorAlonzo
VictorAlonzo - 11/1/2021, 1:44 PM
@Deklipz - that would not happen.
