BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Star Letitia Wright Reportedly "Espousing" Anti-Vax Views On Set

Black Panther star Letitia Wright has previously come under fire for sharing anti-vaccination views on social media, and the Shuri actress was reportedly at it again on the Atlanta set of the sequel.

Letitia Wright is set to reprise the role of Shuri for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (you can check out some BTS shots of her in action here), but it doesn't sound like things have been running particularly smoothly for the actress during production.

Earlier this year, Wright faced backlash for sharing an anti COVID-19 vaccination video on social media, and according to THR, the British actress has continued to "espouse" those same views on the Atlanta set of the Marvel Studios sequel.

Details are few and far between, but the trade's source reports that Wright "quietly parted ways with her entire U.S. team of representatives" after coming under first for posting the video late last year, and believes this latest incident stems from Disney's recent "sticker system." Due to come into effect later this month, the mandate will require all parties present on set to provide visible proof of COVID-19 vaccination status.

Some were surprised that Wright's views didn't land her in hot (well, hotter) water with Disney initially, but this might force the Mouse House to sit up and take more notice - depending on how disruptive the situation proves to be.

We still don't know a whole lot about the Marvel sequel, but Chadwick Boseman, who tragically passed away last August after a 4-year battle with colon cancer, will not be replaced as T'Challa or "resurrected" via CGI. Shuri is actually the favorite to take up the mantle of Black Panther, but some would prefer (maybe now more than ever) to see Winston Duke's M'Baku honor his old foe-turned-ally by assuming the responsibility of Wakanda's protector .

A rumor that Narcos Mexico actor Tenoch Huerta will play Namor in the movie recently did the rounds, but that obviously remains to be seen.

Marvel Studios announced that the highly-anticipated sequel will be titled Wakanda Forever during a recent Phase 4 preview. Specific plot details remain under wraps, but a brief logline tells us that "Wakanda Forever will continue to explore the incomparable world of Wakanda and all of the rich and varied characters introduced in the first film."

I'm still skeptical about this film...
