BLACK WIDOW Exclusive Look Set To Air During The National Championship On January 13

Some brand new footage from Marvel's Black Widow is set to air on Monday, January 13 on ESPN during the National Championship game.

All we know is that it'll be an "exclusive look," which most likely means a TV spot and not a second trailer - although full trailers for Marvel movies have debuted during big games in the past.

ESPN released a brief teaser for the spot, but it seems to be made up of rearranged shots from the first trailer.

Possible new trailer or extended tv spot for Black Widow coming January 13th? from r/marvelstudios

What do you guys hope to see from this new look at the Black Widow movie? Drop us a comment in the usual place, and check out some screenshots from the first trailer by clicking the view list button below.

Really curious to see how this free fall plays out.

@regularmovieguy - Seems they're tying to emulate that cinematic masterpiece, Spider-Man 3.

@regularmovieguy - I'm guessing it will be something like this

@regularmovieguy - How does she change direction in midair like that?

@Battabing - You can see her left hand reach out and she pushes away on a piece of railing from passing debris as she falls.Its quick but you can catch it.

@smgmayhem - Ah yes, with her left hand. Thanks!

@Battabing - Go skydiving. Even the slightest movements adjust your direction quickly. But also, this is a super hero movie. This is closer to reality than most everything else we've seen. Your gripe here is just ridiculous.

@Tonic24k - You can change your direction when jumping, but not in midair. Any forces acting on you can change your direction but that would mostly be beyond your control. It looked to me like Widow changed direction in mid-air, a la flight powers. That doesn't really happen. But that's before I realized that she shifted direction by grabbing a rail with her left hand.

Not sure what your gif is supposed to prove.

@Battabing - It proves that she's done more off the wall shit so griping about changing direction in midair is silly. Also, you're completely wrong. You can absolutely change direction in midair while free falling...and without "flight powers" LOL. I was in the Air Force and know aerodynamics and skydiving very well.

Battabing - 12/30/2019, 2:19 PM
@Tonic24k - Getting an assist like that is hardly original, man.
Also, you have forces acting on you that help you turn a couple of degrees, not enough to avoid debris crumbling around you.

Also, you can't change directions in midair: once you fall, you can't do the opposite of falling.

Widow shifted her whole body at an angle to avoid debris by grabbing a rail. You can't make that large an angular shift on your own.

@Battabing - First of all, this is a goddamn super hero action movie. Obviously things are going to be exaggerated. But yes, you absolutely can change direction in a free fall. Like I said, go skydiving and then get back to me. Don't argue about shit you don't know. Also, the opposite of falling is rising. Where did you see her suddenly change direction 180º and take off into the sky?

And what does being "original" have to do with the argument? It's about suspending disbelief for the sake of enjoying a fictional movie...

@Tonic24k -

1. When you sky dive, the opposite of falling is rising, but you're still falling, just at a slower rate. You can't change your direction back to the plane.

2. Black Widow moved her body at angle to avoid debris. You can't do that on your own in midair, dude. And she didn't. She grabbed the rail to change her direction.

@Battabing -

1. You just reworded exactly what I said so....are you arguing with yourself here?

2. Again, this is a fictional super hero movie. If your expectations are absolute realism how are you a fan of any comic book movie whatsoever? As for changing direction from the push-off I'm not specifically talking about that. I'm just talking about the slight weaving she does. And again, if it were real life you can change your direction with limb movements just like any aerospace vehicle. It's just simple aerodynamics. But because this is a super hero movie it's exaggerated and she's able to evade all the debris in perfect fashion.

i look forward to this one , even with that odd pit in my stomach from EG ... i think she had a lovely ending and hope this doesn't tarnish it ... her dodging debris falling is less to be desire in comparison to the more grounded nature she gave the AV ...
