BLACK ADAM's Post-Credits Scene May Have Been Revealed And It's A Potential DCEU Game-Changer - SPOILERS

Select members of the press have started attending screenings of Black Adam, and word has leaked online about what we can expect from a post-credits scene that's bound to be a winner with DC Comics fans...

Over the past week or two, there's been a lot of chatter online about Henry Cavill's long-awaited return as Superman. The belief is that he'll return as the Man of Steel in Black Adam, setting the stage for Kal-El to be a major player in the DCEU moving forward.

That's quite a contrast to what we've been hearing up until this point, as the belief was Warner Bros. planned to move on from Cavill by using The Flash as an excuse to replace Superman with Sasha Calle's Supergirl. It appears Dwayne Johnson has made the studio's new regime see sense, though, hence why Cavill is now back as the Man of Tomorrow.

According to one reliable insider (and this has been backed up by a number of online scoopers), Cavill will show up as Superman in Black Adam's post-credits scene.

It sounds like Amanda Waller will lay down the law to Black Adam, using Superman as her way of making a statement. This is quite a surprise seeing as the A.R.G.U.S. boss was exposed as a villain in Peacemaker, but it's not as if continuity has ever mattered to the studio.

The fact is, Superman and Black Adam coming face-to-face promises to be an insanely cool moment for fans. What it's laying the groundwork for is unclear, though we know many of you would love to see these two - and Shazam - square off on screen.

We'll find out whether these details are accurate when Black Adam arrives in theaters on October 21.

I hope so, but I have a feeling we’re all in for disappointment.

@ScaryTerry - "Or what!? there’s no one on this planet that can stop me." and she says in that case she’ll get someone not from this planet to deal with him."

This line is stupid and doesn't make sense. He says there's no one on this planet. He didn't say no Human could stop him. Or, no Earthling can stop me. He said no one on the planet can stop him. Well Superman is on the planet lol. So her saying she'll get someone from another planet is just dumb.

Ok, so if true, I know Waller said in the first Suicide Squad movie that they were lucky that Superman shares the same values as they did, but would Superman really trust/work with Waller? Especially after he told the general in Man of Steel that they couldn’t control him? I’m a little lost here.

@Arthorious - I’m no DCEU apologist, but I could see this being an enemy of my enemy is my friend situation. Superman could perceive Black Adam as someone who needs a “talking to” without 100% trusting Waller.

Although I'm not a fan of them framing Black Adam as the biggest threat ever, if it get's Cavill back as Superman I guess it works for me

@Highflyer - yeah that doesn’t sit right. It’s like when Superman worked for the government in the Dark Knight Returns.
