BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Reactions Praise Marvel Studios' Emotional Tribute To Chadwick Boseman

The world premiere for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever took place last night, and that means we have the first reactions from critics! The sequel is receiving plenty of praise, and sounds very emotional...

Despite there still being weeks to go before Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is released in theaters, the world premiere took place last night in Hollywood. Marvel Studios is clearly confident that early reactions will build excitement for the sequel, and if what we see below is any indication, they aren't wrong!

The movie is receiving widespread acclaim, with everyone agreeing that filmmaker Ryan Coogler has delivered a worthy and emotional tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman.

In terms of negatives, it sounds like it may be a tad overlong and that Black Panther was perhaps slightly better. Ironheart actress Riri Williams is being singled out as the movie's breakout star, while Tenoch Huerta's Namor the Submariner clearly doesn't disappoint. In fact, it sounds like he's a fantastic addition to the MCU, so fingers crossed this isn't the last we see of him.

One interesting note is that critics were only shown a mid-credits scene. Could that be an indication a post-credits scene is being saved for when the Black Panther sequel arrives in theaters on November 11? If so, we expect it to be a big surprise Marvel Studios and Disney didn't want to be spoiled in advance, similar to Eros and Hercules' respective MCU debuts.

As I said I'm sure the movie will be good, it's just not the movie I would rather see be made if that makes sense. Either way I'm sure I'll get around to watching it and like aspects from it.
