BLUE BEETLE Final Post-Credit Scene Count Has Been Revealed

After fans were lucky enough to catch an early-screening of DC's Blue Beetle, we finally know how many post-credit scenes will be featured in the film.

As ambiguous as to where and when in what universe DC's Blue Beetle will take place, fans can only hope the film makes it clear to keep up with the overall narrative of the DC universe. New information regarding the subject may make it easier to understand and follow, after fans were able to catch an early-screening of the film.

James Gunn has confirmed that Blue Beetle is the first new DCU character in his rebooted version of the superhero universe, however, the first film set to kick off that new universe is Superman: Legacy, and also that Blue Beetle is slated as the fourteenth installement in the DCEU.

A fan who was fortunate enough to catch an early-screening of Blue Beetle days before its theatrical release, has taken to the internet after watching and revealed that DC's Blue Beetle, will feature two post-credit scenes.

This is truly head-scratching for fans, considering Blue Beetle is still in a very unknown and confusing spot within the DC universe's timeline, but is set to be the first character introduced in James Gunn's rebooted DCU.

Another fan who caught a screening of Blue Beetle spoke out about how there are in fact two post-credit scenes, but he added "there’s more story to tell!"

The two post-credit scenes in the film may in fact focus solely on Jaime Reyes continuing his character's story in the DC universe, and not entirely on any larger scale narrative for this new rebooted DC universe.

Blue Beetle star Xolo Maridueña, who plays the titular character in the film, spoke recently in an interview with Empire Magazine about where we could see his character heading after his first solo outing in the new DCU:

“If we get one movie or a trilogy and f**king fold this into the Justice League s**t, we’re ready for the whole nine... For me and Angel [Manuel Soto, director] and the team, we kicked ass with this movie. It just depends on numbers.”

It does makes sense for Blue Beetle to be set in James Gunn's DCU, as Warner Bros. would cancel the film entirely if it wasn't amid the reboot; the timeline of where and when this film takes place, along with why it is not slated to be in the DCU is just asking more questions than giving us more answers.

Blue Beetle releases in theaters on August 18th, 2023.

Jaime Reyes suddenly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology called the Scarab. When the Scarab chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he's bestowed with an incredible suit of armor that's capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the superhero Blue Beetle.

Blue Beetle is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle, produced by DC Studios and The Safran Company. The film was directed by Angel Manuel Soto and written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. It is intended to be the fourteenth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film stars Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes / Blue Beetle alongside Adriana Barraza, Damián Alcázar, Raoul Max Trujillo, Susan Sarandon, and George Lopez.

@MaxPaint - Movies back then are better than most of the movies released today.

I am very selective of movies I watch these days but you can't beat some of the movies that came out 50 years ago.

The final post credit scene is George Lopez just running around punching himself in the head and screaming that Batman is a racist captialist honkey white devil cracker.

Blue Beetle will definitely get my money. It looks fun, it’s a comic book superhero movie(literally the only reason we’re all on this site) and it’s the “official” start of the DCU. Why wouldn’t I be there?

@WruceBayne - I mean if you think it looks fun then by all means you definitely should go, but for a lot of people around here it looks bland and unoriginal.

I find the actors unsympathic.
The trailer makes this look like a rip-off mix off Venom and Iron Man imo.
The original Ble Beetle was a different story.
