Are Captain America: Civil War and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice essentially the same movie? Super strong patriotic guys coming to blows against their billionaire, powerless counterparts? As Captain America explains, both movies have, "Two iconic heroes in their universe with differing ideologies which have finally brought them to blows in dramatic fashion." Iron Man adds, "This is totally the same thing we're doing, except we're doing it good." Stay for the hilarious stinger with Black Widow and Wonder Woman. Remember, this is all in the name of comedy folks!

It might be the same on the surface, but Civil War has a totally different story, and we don't even know what's happening with BvS yet. So no, they are nt the same, moving on..

Is the feud between Cap and Stark based on some silly misunderstanding as well?

Hahahahahahaha there are similarities but a lot more differences...bats and supes are more generally friends...they're homies for real even though they come to blows at forst. Cap and Tony have a working relationship but have never really liked each other I think. we still don't know the real plot of bvs. Civil war plot, prob still very dofferent. Although, the whole accountability of superheroes, I think both films will touch on, civil war more so.

Lets see movie that has character development story and leads to the story or a movie that shoehorns batman into the sequel to a superman movie that was made for the brain dead masses way before they are supposed to fight?

Funny how marvel continually takes DC movie plots and acts as if nothing happened...

Batman Begins/Ironman: Billionaire playboy spends time away from people, spends a fortune to fight crime, then realises the people he was fighting the whole movie was a front for the main villain...the hero's mentor.

Dark knight rises/Ironman 3: Hero's past comes back to haunt him. He's beaten, spends most of the film in exile, comes back, and finds the main villain was a smokescreen for the actual villain.
