Awesome Unused Comic-Con Posters For CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Feature Fisticuffs Between The Heroes

The Comic-Con poster for Captain America pit Earth's Mightiest Heroes against each other but these alternate designs put the spotlight on the fight between Captain America, Bucky, and Iron Man...

Avengers: Infinity War is set to be released next month and with so much of the movie shrouded in secrecy, fans continue speculating about what could be on the way when Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Guardians of the Galaxy assemble to battle Thanos.  We're obviously going to have to wait and see but one of the most intriguing aspects is how it will deal with Captain America: Civil War's fallout.

In that movie, The Avengers were split in two when Captain America and Iron Man fell on very different sides of the Sokovia Accords and the heroes all went their separate ways when all was said and done.

During Comic-Con, Marvel Studios unveiled a very cool poster for the movie - split into three parts - featuring Earth's Mightiest Heroes doing battle with each other but some alternate designs have now surfaced. As you can see by clicking through the gallery below, these put the focus on the final battle and weren't used because Marvel didn't want to spoil that. They're all seriously cool, though...

Friends Turned Enemies

As Bucky watches on in the background, Steve Rogers and Tony Stark come to blows bringing an end to their friendship in a violent fistfight which left them both bloodied and battered when all was said and done. In this shot, Iron Man uses his armour to overpower his former teammate and friend.

Marvel Two-On-One

The coolest thing about this shot is the fact it's Bucky wielding the shield to repel one of Iron Man's blasts while Steve Rogers dodges out of the way just moments before throwing a punch. It's a cool piece of artwork but showing Tony outnumbered like this makes Steve and Bucky look a little bad.

An Iconic Comic Book Moment

For those of you familiar with Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's Civil War comic book, this shot should definitely ring a bell. While it's a little different to the version from the source material (which did end up finding its way into the movie) this would have been a great way to get fans even more excited!

Last Men Standing

What a great tease this makes! As a battered Captain America squares off with his former friend, Bucky can be glimpsed at the forefront of this image looking ready for a fight. The image would have made for a great teaser but might have shed a little too much light on The Winter Soldier's role here.

#TeamIronMan

Led by Iron Man, Black Panther, Black Widow, War Machine, and The Vision are clearly spoiling for a fight. Unfortunately, there's no sign of Spider-Man in this shot. Perhaps the deal hadn't been completed yet? We know from past interviews that the wall-crawler's inclusion was very last-minute.

#TeamCap

Captain America, meanwhile, is flanked by The Falcon, Bucky, Hawkeye (at least he got some love in this movie), and the Scarlet Witch. Ant-Man can also be seen hanging around on Steve's shoulder and it's interesting that he's the only character in these images sporting any colour...it makes him stand out!

The angled deflection off the shield is really cool. Though the one we got in the movie was perfection.

I'm guessing they colored Ants in the last photo so he would stand out against Cap's uniform.

Captain America:Civil War is my favourite comic book movie, however I watched Captain America:The Winter Soldier the other night & there was moments in that I actually thought it was better than Civil War.I guess its all down to what mood I'm in.

Oh well its not gonna matter soon, especially when Avengers:Infinity War comes out.
