Chris Evans Sports Bruises As Reshoots Get Underway For CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Cameras are rolling again for the third Captain America movie, which will see our heroes become divided. Photos from the set feature Chadwick Boseman and a bruised and battered Chris Evans.

Five months after principal photography on Captain America: Civil War had wrapped in Berlin, Germany, directors Anthony and Joe Russo and the Marvel Studios production crew have now commenced additional photography, or reshoots, in Los Angeles, California. Even though there were no new superhero costume sightings, photos from the shoot capture leading man Chris Evans leaving (or heading to) the set while bearing scars which are obviously makeup. We can only assume the scenes being filmed here will take place after the all-out war between the Super Soldier’s team and Iron Man’s team; the post-credits scene perhaps? Making things even more interesting, Chadwick Boseman, who will debut as the Black Panther in Civil War before his 2018 solo film, was also spotted via Daily Mail.

Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain. Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set for release on May 6, 2016.

When should we be expecting a second trailer to drop?

@marvelstudios - I would think soon. Age of Ultron's trailer 2 dropped January 12th of last year. Trailer 1 came October 23rd of 2014. We got Civil War trailer 1 back in November, the 24th. I'm expecting trailer 2 at least by February. Maybe attached to Deadpool?

@marvelstudios -
Superbowl. Just like they did with Winter Soldier.

@dellrusk

Don't count on that. Disney didn't advertise during the Super Bowl (2 words, not 1) last year because it's too expensive. They opted to focus on the opening round of MM instead.
