Are we going to get the Captain America: Civil War trailer this weekend? I'd say it's unlikely, but it will be interesting to see how Marvel reacts to this leak from the preview which was shown off at the D23 Expo a couple of weekends back. As you can see from the screengrabs and gifs below, we get a new look at both the heroes and villains who will play a role in the movie, and that shot of Cap's team running into battle is definitely a highlight. Here's hoping the trailer itself finds its way online, eh? As always, be sure to let us know what you think of these images in the usual place.
Captain America: Civil War plot picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set to be released on May 6th, 2016. Are you guys #TeamCaptainAmerica or #TeamIronMan?
